About this cottage rental
1021 Scaup Ct in the Sparrow Pond neighborhood has been newly renovated with updates throughout including newly added fourth bedroom and half bath. Great location, pool and beach access nearby!
Charming cottage is situated in one of the best locations on the Island and is a favorite spot to many vacationers. Located in the popular Sparrow Pond community and close to all of Kiawah's amenities as well as Freshfields Village, this gorgeous cottage offers upscale furnishings, renovated kitchen and baths, Wi-Fi internet, and a spacious screened in porch. There are four bedrooms with plenty of room. Both bathrooms have had a full renovation and have a spa like feel. The kitchen is fully equipped with top of the line appliances and all you need to prepare meals . Full sized washer and dryer.
If you absolutely must work from the home, the twin bedroom does have a comfortable office chair, desk, and a small printer available. This cottage does allow one dog up to 50 lbs (or two smaller dogs) pet fee is included.
Take a short five minute walk or quick bike ride and you'll be at the ocean's edge in no time.(0.3mi) There are 10 miles of glorious beach to enjoy and you can ride your bike right on the hard packed sand. Enjoy neighborhood community pool at the end of your day on the beach or at one of the many golf courses.
When you stay with ESPM for 3-21 nights you will receive a valuable credit of up to $210 (amount dependent on length of stay) to use toward beach gear, bikes, etc. Credit may not be available for last minute bookings, 48 hours notice is required.
As our guest, you will have access to 5 Championship Golf Courses – including The Ocean Course – the location of the 2021 PGA Championship; The Kiawah Island Resort Tennis Center - #1 ranked by Tennis Resorts Online; Free Wireless Internet Access; Our Local Property Management team is on hand in case of emergencies and their friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff can assist you with any needs throughout your stay. Additional housekeeping services are also available during your stay (mid-week clean or daily trash and tidy). No access available for resort pools or fitness center.
If you have the time, make a short trip (35 Minutes) to Charleston America's most charming southern City. There you'll find world class dining, shopping and lots of history to explore.

The house was in a good location-short walk to the beach and close to the nearby market. TVs in the master bedroom and twin bedroom did not work-we didn’t ask staff for assistance because it was low on the priority list amd there were other tvs for people who wanted them.

The house was clean, and in a good location. The pictures are wrong though, we were counting on 2 bedrooms with twin beds (as shown in the pics) but only had 1, the rest with queen or king. We specifically chose this house for the bedroom layout for the 4 kids, but ended up having to sleep an adult on the couch to make it work. Very disappointed! Also, the oven makes the house smell like gas everytime it’s in use, so there must be a leak somewhere. The grill needs to be replaced, it barley worked. There’s not enough seating for the number of people it can sleep, either. Overall ok, not great. I would only stay here again if I needed the 4th bedroom, as there are better Sparrow Pond cottages.
