About this cabin rental
Serendipity is located on beautiful Galiano Island...It is situated on Whaler Bay, and is nestled amongst the forest and wildlife...It is a well kept 50's pan-abode log cabin, on the water with a beautiful view...Deer, racoons, otters and eagles regularily frolick through-out the property.
Quiet, serene, and comfortable, this little beauty sleeps two in the main cabin, but also has a guest cabin which sleeps two as well.....( this is an additional 50 pr. night, but can be negotiated for long term rentals).
It is walking distance from the main ferry terminal as well as the local shops and the Madrona which is a world class spa.
Because the water is collected from rain water and has been treated, there is bottled water provided for drinking. The tap water is used for dishes and showers.
Please limit your showers to a min. in the summer as Galiano is one of the driest gulf islands and water must be brought in by truck to the its not a problem in the winter, because of the rain.
There is no garbage pickup on the island so please take your garbage back with you. There is a compost to use for food scraps to help condense the waste.
Serendipity is a wonderful quaint and peaceful cabin that I know, you will enjoy and feel relaxed by the time you check out.
There are also kayaks and paddle boards available for rent at the bottom of the property. Contact information will be left at the cabin..

If peace, harmony, and pleasure are your thing, then Serendipity is a must!This VRBO is an oasis in a world of busyness, deadlines, and anxiety.From the moment of entering this cabin we were greeted by several bouquets of real, fresh flowers--yes, real flowers, not artificial!--which set the tone of joy for our stay there.A perfect place to unwind and relax.Thank you, Deborra, for this little bit of heaven.

Beautiful stay at this charming cabin overlooking Whaler’s Cove. The deck is an amazing place to catch the afternoon sun and the cabin’s interior is straight out of a magazine. I can only imagine how cozy it is in the winter! Great kitchen set up with everything you need and it is literally 2 minutes from the ferry. We tried to be very cognizant of the lack of water on the island. The cabin’s only water source is rain so very quick showers. Deb was a great host who has thought of everything you might need. Highlight of our stay was climbing Mount Galiano for the incredible view! Visitors should note that cell reception on Galiano was nonexistent so expect to literally unplug during your stay. Packing out our garbage was also a first for us as there is no waste service on the island. We hope to be back again to visit this oasis of the West coast.

Lovely, immaculate cabin with a great deck overlooking the water. Well appointed with everything you need. The bed is sooo comfortable. The location is very convenient. It was nice to walk into the village to the cafe and Oxeye. Loved the deer. We will be back.
