About this cottage rental
Nestled in the heart of Salt Spring Island, Creek Cottage offers a serene escape alongside a beautiful seasonal creek and deep mossy forest. This stand-alone cottage is the perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and natural beauty, ideal for solo travellers, couples, or small families looking to unwind and reconnect with nature.
Situated in a quiet, mossy forest with a fairy-like ambiance and charming seasonal creek just outside, perfect for morning reflections and evening relaxation. The creek typically runs September - July (depending) and when it rains.
Easy access to local shops, cafes, and the island's artisan markets.
The cottage is across the street from Duck Creek and Channel Ridge hiking trails and mountain bike trailheads just a 3-minute ride away.
Nearby Amenities: Only 3 minutes from the Vesuvius Ferry, 5 minutes from grocery stores and other essentials, and 10 minutes to the town of Ganges.
Beach access is 5 min car ride away. There is a nearby cafe, pizza shop and fish and chip shop!

Studio-Style Living: Cozy, open layout with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
1 Cozy Bedroom Area: Features high-end bedding for a restful night’s sleep after a day of island adventures, bird watching, spa-going, coffee shop hopping or whatever else you get up to.
Well-Equipped Kitchen: Includes essentials for home-cooked meals, quality cookware, tea, oils, spices, and a Breville espresso machine for your morning coffee.
Living Area: Relax with a book by the electric fireplace or enjoy streaming options on the 65-inch smart TV, with access to YouTube, Crave, Netflix, Apple TV, and Samsung TV.
Bathroom: Stocked with eco-friendly toiletries, plush towels, and a spacious shower.
One parking spot is provided.
I live on-site and do yard-work as needed. Your interaction with me is up to you! I am here if needed. My default is to let you have your space and drop into your own experience.
You will see deer and a beautiful array of birds. We are off the road so you will hear traffic from time to time. If the creek is running, that is what you'll mostly hear, however. We do not have any pests, rodents or predators on-site. The cottage is comfortable and rustic only in its external appearance.
There are no laundry facilities in the cottage, but I am happy to run a load for you if requested with a small fee. Laundry request papers are found in the cottage to fill out with instructions.

Under a canopy of trees, we were quickly able to submit to vacation mode and let yesterday’s stressors melt away. Although the cottage is tiny, it has everything you need.
