Konea 919 is one of only four two-bedroom suites at Honua Kai with this highly sought-after floor plan. Exclusive to the 9th-floor of Honua Kai, this suite offers commanding direct ocean views, unsurpassed among two-bedroom oceanviews at Honua Kai. Experience true panoramic views of the Pacific as you gaze beyond the adjacent building wings that impede the views of the eight floors below.
This location is further accentuated by the solitude of its rarified 9th-floor location and its shelter from Maui's prevailing tradewinds. The lanai seats up to four people to enjoy the stunning view. In this suite, opulence and comfort are the constants, gracefully interwoven for your happiness and relaxation.
The suite can accommodate up to six guests in two king-size beds and one queen-size convertible sofa sleeper. For added flexibility, one of the king-size beds can be split into two XL twin-size beds at no charge.
We encourage you to express your culinary creativity in the well-appointed kitchen. The space is fully equipped with stainless steel Bosch appliances and granite countertops, and we have provided every appliance and utensil to prepare the perfect meal or refreshment... just bring the ingredients.
Enjoy your meals on the lanai or dine indoors in the climate-controlled air conditioning. In addition, our commercial-grade Vitamix blender lends itself well to preparing creative libations or smoothies with fresh local produce.

Pros: Nice views. Great location. Spacious rooms and amenities. Spacious outdoor spaces and pools. Liked the end/corner location (more secluded and private).
Cons: Lack of parking; had to park far. Long wait for check in. No host after certain hours or due to low staffing. Washed clothes to go home on the last night but the dryer didn't work so we had to air dry clothes all over the place. No one was able to come service the dryer and no other options provided to dry clothes. On top of this, the AC stopped working as well on our last night. We had an uncomfortable and miserable last night. There were ceiling fans at least but it was still very warm. Could not get a late check-out, not even half an hour or an hour to help us out given the malfunction of the dryer and AC. Management only gave us a $300 refund when it should have been at least a 1 day/night refund. Probably will not stay in this unit but might consider other units.
