-Upgraded 2022 (new beds, headboard, and mattresses, all furniture replaced including the sofa bed with a supreme mattress top, table with optional bench to seat 6, carpet removed and replaced with LVP for a cleaner environment, freshly white painted walls and doors for a brighter cleaner look, new matte black faucets and accessories, shower heads with great water flow, new extra high toilet seats with slow close for comfort, new lighting and a dimmer for the kitchen lights and bathroom lights, changed curtains in the bedrooms for a privacy inner curtain that is not see through to other rooms across the courtyard, new wall art, long mirror in guest bedroom for additional space to get ready, extra wall hooks for towels, clothes, and hats, and master bath toilet louver door replaced with solid panels for more privacy.)

My 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom suite is on the top floor (7th) of the Honua Kai Resort and Spa, a beachfront condo resort on Kaanapali Beach. While sitting on the spacious lanai you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of the beach and the nearby island of Molokai. Open the full-wall accordion glass doors and your entire living room becomes part of the Hawaiian outdoors. The best part is that I'm north facing, so that the Lanai is shaded most of the day for full enjoyment.
The condo is 1,100 sq. ft. inside plus 235 sq. ft. of outside living on the lanai. The lanai features a dining table that seats 6, two padded lounge chairs, end table and chair, for full ocean view enjoyment. The lanai has one of the most beautiful views in the condo resort, inner courtyard north facing, overlooking the ocean, main pool, and Duke's restaurant. Amazing at night with all the tiki torches lit!
There’s a restaurant "Dukes" on the property with a great outside bar, casual outdoor dining section and a more upscale dining vibe inside. A deli/sundries/coffee shop is conveniently located downstairs. Whaler's General Store is located in the lobby of the Konea Tower for any items you may have forgot at home. Times grocery store is across the street (a healthy walk).

*Several pool and hot tub options on the property allow you to find your perfect spot to have an intimate family hangout. Enjoy a water lounge chair, the sandy pool area, the lap pool, river pool, quiet pool which is intended for adults, the waterfall pool, and the water slide for kids.
*Take a walk or run along the 3-mile paved path that starts downstairs and weaves through the beachfront resorts all the way to Black Rock peninsula and the Sheraton.
*Extras might include soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper, laundry soap, snorkel masks, beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, water floats, sand toys, and coolers. (We can’t guarantee that each of those items will be there during your week, but we’ll try.)

This was the absolute BEST. Exceptional room, fantastic views, beyond our wildest expectations. Our host, Shelly, gaves us excellent tips for our stay and provided us a Maui visit we will never forget. The property itself is right on the beach and everything you need. Service staff was great as well. This is the place to stay in Maui

We loved our stay! The condo and property were clean and exactly as advertised. The check-in process was as easy as you could make it. The condo is perfect for a family or group of friends traveling together and has plenty of beach & pool amenities.

This is the second time we have stayed in Shelly's condo. Our boys were so happy to be back and picked up like we never left. Coming back made packing really easy since we knew that almost everything that we would need was already there. Chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, snorkel stuff, pool toys, ice packs, ice chests, water bottles, and the list goes on and on. The kitchen is stacked with spices and condiments and many other things you won't have to buy at Safeway. Shelly is one of the best hosts we have worked with. She gives great recommendations and plenty of intel for the property. Her place is very well taken care of and has one of the best views. We will absolutely come back soon, wouldn't consider another place on this side of the island. Thanks for another great visit, Shelly.
