I WAS THE DEVELOPER'S REAL ESTATE BROKER AT HONUA KAI FROM 2009 to 2016 when we sold out! I am also a licensed attorney in both Hawaii (Bar No. 8295) and California (Bar No 178241)(voluntary inactive). Disclaimer: Never wire money as a form of payment. If the rate seems to good to be true, it is.


This explanation may help since Honua Kai can be confusing. The construction of the Luana Townhouses is 100% complete, Honua Kai is now 700 individually owned condominiums that belong to a Homeowners Association. Honua Kai is not a hotel. Every owner chooses to either use the onsite management which is now Outrigger or they choose an outside rental company (ORC). Outrigger is not the "Resort" they're just the onsite managment company. Now they own the front desk area and some other areas at Honua Kai, but all guests have access to the pools, restaurant, stores, Spa, fitness center and concierge


Please take a look at our photos and you'll see that they are actual pictures of the unit and upon your arrival you will say that the pictures do not do this place justice. Also, know that this unit has the highly desirable 1,315 sq. ft. floorplan. If you want to make your trip special this is the unit for you.


UPON DEPARTURE YOU LEAVE YOUR KEYS ON THE COUNTER AND GO.

-With us you rent unit Konea 503, you don't rent a category and find out what you get when you arrive at the front desk. With us you get actual pictures of the unit and the actual view from the unit.

-Free Internet Resort Wide

-No worrying about when the maid service is going to interrupt your day since we don't offer housekeeping.

-We personally see that this unit is cleaned to our high standards.

-Use of swimming pool, exercise room, and concierge service. We also provide beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, paper products and binoculars.

-Charge all resort costs on your credit card.

-Our Aloha Welcome Package which includes coffee K-pods, Chilled Champagne, Hawaiian Chocolates, Terra Pure Green Tea Shampoo and Soaps.

-- We take your stay personally, so anything that comes up, we will do our best to take care of it. We want you happy and we want you back!

-We are fortunate to Live Aloha everyday and our goal is for our guests to Live Aloha while they are our guests. Whether it's just another trip to Maui or the only trip you'll ever take to Maui, our mission is to make it special.


The bellmen are all real good guys that work hard that are ready to assist you with your luggage up to the unit.


Currently self and valet parking are free. (subject to change) Only one car per unit is allowed in the underground parking garage. This is subject to change.

We will accommodate free early check-in or late check outs when the schedule allows. Again, when the schedule allows. We understand that many flights arrive late morning and that many flights depart late at night.

This is our second time staying at one of Joe’s properties and cannot say enough good things about the experience. The unit is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The property’s pools were perfect for our family and we loved having Duke’s nearby. But honestly, the view is the real highlight! I could sit on that lanai all day. We saw several whales during our trip and the sunsets were gorgeous. Joe was a responsive host and made the check in and check out processes seamless. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The lanai view is worth the price of admission, especially during whale season. The condo was clean, very well kept, and kitchen was well appointed. The owner was very communicative/responsive. Our stay was perfect. We'll try to stay in this unit again - it's such a beautiful spot on the property.
