Konea 712 offers one of the absolute best values to be had at Honua Kai. This rare two bedroom, one bath suite offers the space and privacy of an additional bedroom without the price tag of a standard two bedroom, two bathroom. Enjoy delightful views of the lush West Maui Mountains from this luxurious suite's 7th-floor location.
This suite affords a perfect opportunity to gather, reconnect, and celebrate. The suite can accommodate up to six guests in one king-sized bed, one queen-sized bed, and one queen-sized convertible sofa sleeper. The second bedroom closes off completely from the living room with custom installed sliding doors and has its own flat panel TV and closet.
We encourage you to express your culinary creativity in the well-appointed kitchen. The space is fully equipped with stainless steel Bosch appliances and granite countertops, and we have provided every appliance & utensil to prepare the perfect meal or refreshment... just bring the ingredients. Enjoy your meals on the spacious lanai or dine indoors in the climate controlled air conditioning. In addition, our commercial grade Vitamix blender lends itself well to preparing creative libations or smoothies with fresh local produce.

Loved the Honua Kai and the room. Howver, by renting through vrbo, we did not have access to all of the amenities. For instance, we could not charge stuff to our room. So we Had to pay cash for everything like like snorkeling or dinner or just sending the kids down for ice cream.
We have another trip booked through vrbo in January that we will cancel because it is on a resort and we will book directly through them.
Another problem is there was no list of extensions so we had to call Maui Resort Rentals for everything and then they just transferred us to the Honua Kai general operator who then transferred us to the desired extension, a three step process.
It should be clearly stated in in the ad that we were NOT renting directly from the resort.
