The space
Positioned on the first floor, the apartment greets guests with a blend of elegance and an exotic flair, nodding to the Brazilian roots of its owner. Sunlight streams into the living and dining area, which showcases tastefully curated decor. A central corridor leads guests to the three sizable bedrooms, two of which offer the privacy of en-suite bathrooms. Every bedroom guarantees comfort with ample storage and individual air conditioning.
The kitchen, equipped for all your culinary needs, invites moments of home cooking. However, with Bairro Alto's rich tapestry of Fado houses and traditional Portuguese eateries at your doorstep, the temptation to dine out might just be irresistible.

Bairro Alto is one of Lisbon's oldest and most traditional neighborhoods, a charming blend of old and new coming together in the most exciting way. Great stay in a very centrally located area. Lots of room for the 5 of us. Nicely decorated and spacious. We would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was great! William was friendly and accommodating. Sad that we only stayed there 1 night because of travel plan delay but we would love to come back in the future

We have mixed reviews about the apartment. I'll start with the positives. The apartment was spacious for a family of 6 adults. Two of the three bedrooms had an attached bath, and the 3rd very small bedroom had use of a hallway bath. The kitchen had the basics needed for a comfortable stay. We were given a bottle of water, milk, juice and a few coffee pods which was nice to start the trip. This apartment is on a street that has a few bars and restaurants, and it is quite lively in the evening. There were shutters that helped block the noise, so even though it was really noisy outside, we were fine inside.
Now for the not so good. The smaller suite was disappointing as the bed was super uncomfortable. You could feel the springs in the mattress. Additionally, the air conditioner in that room was dripping water. We were 'lucky' because one couple left early, so the people sleeping in that room were able to move the the small bedroom to get some sleep. I honestly don't know that the 3rd couple would have stayed if they were not able to switch bedrooms. We couldn't find any extra garbage bags or paper towels, so that was disappointing. It would have been nice to be able to take out the garbage at least once during the stay.
