De vier trappen waren een beetje veel na een dag hellingen en trappen.

We very much liked the clean state and the nice layout of the apartment and the helpful staff who always responded to our questions and communicated very well. We were not sure about the deposit being given in cash though this was handed back to us following apartment checks at the time agreed at check in. Location is ideal in downtown Lisbon and a lovely balcony and living room area. Bathroom and kitchen was also praised by all of us.

It is 113 stairs from Rossio station to the apartment and then 65 stairs from the front door to the apartment itself on the top floor. We are 4 lads each 26 years old so this was not an issue for us, though I feel like the advert needs to point this out somewhere, if I were to bring my family here it would be a significant issue for parents. Other reviews do tell you this so we did know, but not everyone reads the reviews. There is a window gap of the door to the master bedroom which can be seen through, would advise that this is covered up like the rest of the window.

Auf einem Hügel und viele Stiegen im Haus selber (wenn man sich darauf einstellt aber halb so schlimm). 2 Zimmer ohne Fenster. Betten nicht die bequemsten.

Hosts were excellent at answering all of our queries within the hour. Property location and layout was excellent. We had a lovely time in Lisbon!

Unfortunately the furniture and fittings are quite tired and need some maintenance, which can’t be seen in the photos. The beds and pillows are also not great. I shared this with the hosts and they did say they’d send someone round after our stay to address the issues to ensure future guests don’t find the same problems.
