The location of the apartment is hands down amazing. Can’t be beat. Right smack in the center of the town, walkable (or climbable) to any shop or restaurant you desire. Big apartment with 4 bedrooms, sleeps maximum of 8 (3 king beds + 2 single beds), with 2 bathrooms for all. We were a group of 5 and there was plenty of space. Well-equipped too. All spaces were air-conditioned and was great for summer. But there’s no traditional heating or radiators for the apartment, so the apartment will be heated using the air-conditioners in winter. (I’m not a fan of this since air cons heat poorly. And the bathrooms are likely to be cold during winter since there neither heating nor air cons in all of them). The gentleman from the management team who checked us in, Antonio, was very prompt to contact us pre-arrival and fix a few issues like the WiFi and curtains that were stuck. So the management team reacts promptly and kindly to the best of their efforts.

Now the downside, and one is quite serious and dangerous. I’ve already feedback to Antonio about it that the owner has to put in time and investment to fix a serious issue to avoid anyone getting injured for their gross negligence. Flooring All the flooring of the entire apartment is falling through. You don’t see this in the official photos, just the great decor and carpet pieces everywhere. But ALL the wooden floor boards are either collapsing downwards or breaking apart, exposing nails and wood splinters. And this is everywhere. Not just one isolated spot. And especially serious along areas with high footfall. If you wear shoes all the time in the apartment, then it’s ok. But at some point, you will be barefoot and the flooring can injure you. Even in the bathrooms, the floor tiles are lifted up to expose the sharp edges of the tiles. All the grouting is gone. And to get pierced by an exposed nail, wooden splinters in your foot or your foot sliced open by the tiles’ sharp edge can result in a serious injury. Any injury to the foot or soles of the feet takes a long time to heal, and is also difficult for any blood flow to stop, just because there is no slack in the skin on the foot or sole for an open wound to seal. Noise insulation It’s an old apartment building with 3 floors and an apartment on each floor. Each apartment wraps around a central staircase. All external and internal doors have big gaps all around, so you hear anyone and everyone in the building, and in your apartment too. Sounds are amplified. With the floor collapsing, every single step creaks loudly. And it also feels like the floor is going to go under when you walk through the apartment. Having lived in old apartment buildings in Paris and Madrid, I’d say the noise insulation or lack of it is worser in this apartment than most. Renovation works happening This apartment is on the second floor, with an apartment above and another below.

Amazing apartment - looks exactly like the pictures. Fantastic location, super central. Great welcome by the agency and super easy to talk with. Highly recommend it and would come again!

The property was lovely and was in a great area. It was large enough for 8 people comfortably. We would stay again! The Italian restaurant across the street is lovely and great food!

The 3 floor climb was hard with bags but it was worth it. It needed a few repairs but everything worked well.

Location was great. Rooms were spacious.

Bathrooms, the one was practically in usable, the tile outside the shower was so loose that I was concerned someone would fall thru the floor.
