A breathtaking getaway on Lake Como!
Nestled on the beautiful hillside along the desirable western shores of Lake Como in the ancient town of Argegno this stunning property is ideal for families and groups.
The ground floor property offers many modern and convenient features including a telephone entry system. A stunning spacious open plan living room offers a lovely place to relax and unwind, with a comfortable sofa with flat screen TV for guests’ entertainment and a dining area with a newly fitted integrated kitchen which provides all the desired appliances including a dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, oven with hob and microwave.
From the living room guests can also enjoy the sunny direct views over the small and exclusive residence with its swimming pool, as well as over the mountainside and of the lake itself. Glass doors slide open to lead guests onto the fabulous private balcony terrace where alfresco dining can be enjoyed!
The beautiful sleeping accommodation has been furnished to a stylish and contemporary finish and comprises two spacious fully furnished double bedrooms and a modern newly fitted Bathroom with washing machine. To the living room the double sofa bed can also be utilised to accommodate any additional guests during your stay.

The exclusive Residence Eden grounds offer more besides the sunny position and breathtaking lake views as it also offers residents a wonderful, outdoor, shared swimming pool ideal for recreation and poolside relaxation, with breathtaking views to also enjoy! From the hillside residence guests can reach the lakeside centre of Argegno in just 5 minutes by car or 10-15 mins on foot. The popular visitor town offers many picturesque views from the gushing Mountain River and ancient bridge crossings to the vibrant piazzas with cafes, bars and restaurants which lead to quieter and charming medieval passageways and areas of the town which are just waiting to be explored!
The town offers a range of local amenities and offers some very good restaurants to enjoy including La Piazzetta. From the town guests can also easily use the ferry and bus service or travel by car to explore the nearby towns and also enjoy other marvellous dining experiences at Il Crotto Platani and Gatto Nero. Staying in Argegno along the desirable western shore of Lake Como also means that guests are within easy reach of the cosmopolitan delights of Como city which include the famous Duomo cathedral, its buzzing Piazzas, the wide variety of designer and high street shopping boulevards and Villa Olmo which plays host in its splendid rooms and gardens to many art and musical events and festivals each year. We had a fantastic time. We arrived at the apartment late at night and in the dark. Finding it wasn't too bad, although the directions could stipulate that at the third hairpin bend you go straight across because in the dark you can't see the coloured houses mentioned.
The balcony was the best bit of the apartment. We're a family of five but it was big enough for us all and it has a wonderful view of the lack and hills that you can sit and stare at for hours. The apartment is also next to the pool which is really convenient. And the pool, while small, doesn't get busy and is a lovely spot with another great view of the lake. The apartment complex as a whole is well kept and quiet and a lovely relaxing place to be.
What we loved was the fact that you can walk into the town of Argegno in five minutes. It's downhill all the way (and so a climb back) and it takes you through the lovely alleyways and cobbled ancient backstreets of the old town with its characterful buildings. On the way you'll pass a family run restaurant (which you can see from the apartment) which is worth a try. And there is a little square in Argegno with restaurants and bars. La Piazzetta is worth a try but expensive. We went for pizzas which for the vegetarians amongst us weren't very good. But if you can pay a bit more I'm sure the quality of the food is good. Barchetta is also good and more reasonable. Also try the ice-cream parlour which is popular and the coffee shop next to La Piazetta.
We loved Argegno. It's small but still retains its character and its a good place to explore the rest of the Lake. Take the cable car up to Pigra which gives you a great view of the lake. You can also catch the boat from Argegno which (for about 75 euros for a family of five adults and one child) takes you to the main towns nearby - Bellagio, Varenna etc. Make sure you get the first boat of the day 10.10 otherwise the boat and the stop-offs get packed. For swimming - go the Lido at Ossuccio. Get there in the morning when it's quiet so you can get your beach towels down. There's a bar and a place to swim/jump in the water from. Lenno is a nice place to visit as are Tremezzo and Mennagio. For supermarkets, your best bet is a short 10-15 minute drive south towards Como to Bennets which is huge and sells everything you'll need.
We stayed for 8 nights and we loved it. We'll be back one day!

We had a wonderful week at the Como lake. All in all we really enjoyed the apartment at magnolia 15! We had very delightful holiday and we will you up the next time we will go to the area.

This property is located beautifully. We loved the view, and proximity to Argregno and neighbouring villages. Instructions to locate it were very clear, and although we had troubles with the main door key sometimes, it was secure.
