The house is situated in Nesso, a lakefront Italian village, dating back to Roman times, a step back in time. Close to lake attractions and Milan, with easy trips to famous Italian cities. Villa Rosina, owned by the Famiglia Pertusini for centuries, is a perfect lakeside retreat that puts you front and center on the lake looking west over the wonders of the region. The house is located off the main road via a waterfall crossed lane, down a garden staircase providing the perfect waterfront vacation in this secluded, historic retreat.
Enjoy the lakeside garden, boat dock, where you swim, and only a short walk to town to restaurants, bars and the ferry. Villa Rosina is perched on the shore of Lake Como where the lake activity of boats coming and going can be enjoyed from the terrace over a morning café or an evening aperitif. With great views, lovely gardens of cherry and chestnut trees next to the villa, this is truly the place for an Italian holiday.

The house is great and exactly has shown in the pictures. The only disadvantage is the drive from Como and the driveway down to the villa. It is about a 30 minute drive from Como to the villa on roads that are often onbly wide enough for one vehicle - watch out for the local buses who drive rather fast. Then the driveway down to the parking starts off at about a 45 degree downgrade but once down the parking is fine. From there it is down 78 steps to villa 102.

The view is wonderful the property is nice and located right on lake Como. Very relaxing if you’re staying home. Getting in and out of the property was a nightmare. Way too many steps to go up and down specially carrying luggages. Hard to almost impossible to find transportation other than the bus that would always be completely full. If you have older people in your group or family don’t even try. I am not very picky except when it comes to cleanness and this house was not very cleanIf you want a relaxing stay without going out much then this is perfect

Beautiful property with water front, a private dock from where you can jump into the lake and beautiful terrace for enjoying the evenings. You only need to know that you will need to walk up and down long stairs when moving around the property and the whole area, which is normal as this is a house in the mountains side! -my mom who is 76 didn't have issues though. Parking is private for a few cars and is close by up the stairs. The property are actually 3 independent houses/apartments all of them very comfortable. My favourite would be the bottom one as it hashould the biggest terrace, then the middle one which also had a big balcony/terrace and beautiful views and the least favourite would be the top one which hashould no balcony but a huge opening window facing the lake. We spent a great time and both Lino and signora Silvana were very helpful. Nesso is a quite and very nice town with some activities to to, mostly water /based like swimming and jumping from the roman bridge near the waterfall. The ferry also stops here so you can visit other towns around the like by boat. The bus stop is right at the entrance of the property (from the main road you need to walk down the private road around 50 mts) very happy!
