Brienno is a lovely, small village on the waterfront - not too touristy. The view from the balcony over the lake is beautiful. The apartment itself is very large, over two floors, with 2 bathrooms, and the AC worked well.
Checkout at 10am is quite early and hosts not very flexible. The kitchen was equipped ok, it was a bit basic (although it did have a dishwasher!). A washing machine would have been more useful... But it was nice :)

The view was truly incredible to wake up to every morning. The town is also beautiful and more quiet than the other busy towns around lake Como. We stayed with three people and the fold out couch I found was very comfortable. Everything was great, the hosts were very responsive. There is a fabulous pizza restraunt located behind the apartment. Also a lovely swim spot only a walk up the road which has live music on Fridays and a beautiful area to swim, relax and have some drinks in the sunshine.
The only thing would be to bring your own hand soap and toilet paper Because they only give you some sachets and two rolls of toilet paper. It’s not a hotel so they won’t be replacing these items for you, so it’s a good note to bring your own.
Also do a grocery shop before you get there, because it’s a drive away (not walking distance).

A beautiful room with a stunning lake view and plenty of space. The kitchen was also very nice to have and made the stay even more comfortable. Overall, the apartment had a really relaxing atmosphere.
The cleanliness was okay overall, but the floor could have been cleaned better, especially in the bathroom.
