This unique memorable retreat awaits you! Magic and tranquility envelope our beautiful private home built in 2011, located only five minutes by boat from Alexandria Bay, NY. Nestled on a hill, privately surrounded on 3 sides by a cozy woodland, and by a rocky shoreline with extraordinary views of the St Lawrence Seaway. Large boathouse with 2 boat slips under cover, and 2 slips on either outer side. The boathouse also has an upper enclosed level entertaining area with outdoor porch/deck. Stairways or uphill walkway lead from the boathouse to the main house. An impressive stone stairway leads to the main entrance door. Plenty of amenities including WiFi, a large screen smart TV for streaming your favorite subscriptions, dishwasher, wine cooler, cozy wood stove, and AC/heat. The water system is potable, filtered by a UV System. Rooms include a separate laundry room, eat-in kitchen, large dining table, 2 separated living areas, 3 bedrooms plus a pull out Queen bed in lower living area. Luxuriant screened-in porch room to enjoy the sounds of the evening, a front patio deck to sip your morning Nespresso while watching the passing ships, and a back patio deck with a Webber charcoal grill and dining table all connected by a walkway surrounding the upper level of the home. The feeling of magic encompasses the Fairyland Island landscape with stone pathways, old flower beds, and stairways - most originating in the late 1800’s, all around the grounds. A small stone stairway located behind the home’s back deck leads to a private gazebo originally built as a small art studio. Please be advised that there is the equivalent of 4 flights of stairs from boat docking to the main floor of the house. A pull cart is available in the boathouse to aid in carrying belongings to the stairway of the main entrance.
Minutes to Bolt Castle and Boat Museum, Singer Castle, Wellesley Island, spectacular golfing, numerous sand bars for swimming, exploring, and the joy of boating around the numerous islands viewing grand estates - new and old, many originating in the Guilded Age by some of America’s wealthiest families. The village of Alexandria Bay is a 5 minute boat ride away where there are numerous restaurants, kitschy shops, distilleries, grocery stores, drugstores and a hospital.
Boat launch, parking, trailer storage available in several locations in Alexandria Bay and all are within a 5 minute boat ride to our home. Suggested launch/parking areas include: Carnegie Bay, Bonnie Castle Marina, Thousand Islands Club, Wellesley Island, ABay public docks, among others (contact selected location to assure availability of parking and launching). Boat rentals and local water taxis available in the area (refer to Alexandria Bay Area offerings). You can be sure to leave with lasting magical memories!

Amazing property! Need to have a boat, so keep that in mind. The views were beautiful, and the house was gorgeous, new, well appointed. Host was attentive and answered questions promptly.

The property was outstanding and exceeded our expectations in every way. The location is fantastic and neighbors very nice. The boat house was perfect and the deck on the upper level gave you a beautiful view of the water way. I highly recommend the property and plan on booking again in the future. The stay was flawless and we could not have asked for a better location to visit the 1000 islands.

We loved the property! It was big enough for 3 families. The boathouse is amazing and worked perfectly for our 2 boats. Would definitely stay here again !

great location, just off the channel so you can watch the ships, convenient with Marina and gas across the channel from the house. Island is quiet, with the house location being private, barely noticed the neighbors. Hosts were very kind, didn’t have any issues but still checked in. Plenty of room, the downstairs worked out well for the kids to take over. Overall, a wonderful house and relaxing vacation.
