A remarkable Queen Anne Mansion adjoining the famous Edgewood Resort and Conference Center, overlooking the River St. Lawrence. From the circular driveway with Italian Fountain to its 400 feet of waterfront, it creates a presence of a by gone era. The immense covered porches with antique wicker and Baby Grand Player Piano, make this property one of a kind. This property features 6 Bedrooms/4 Bath, billiard room, gourmet kitchen with granite counters and wet bar, sprawling decks that lead to the water. There is plenty of dock space with over 40 feet on both sides. Watch the ships go by as you dine on the porch. Ideal for receptions and family reunions. All linens, sheets and comforters are Ralph Lauren and are included. The property was featured on television show- Sweet Retreats, for a preview of the property go to Livewell/Sweet Retreats/Thousand Islands. ***Please note reservations from June until after Labor Day are Friday to Friday weekly rentals***

Host was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. He even shared veggies from his own garden with us. The best part is the location. We love Alexandria Bay and being on the waterway was special. There were 13 people in our party and everybody had a bed. We hope to stay here again in the future.

The house was large and comfortable for our group of 8 adults and 1 toddler. The deck had a great view of the water and all the boats/ships coming and going. The kitchen was well stocked minus a couple things (no cheese grater/shredder or scissors) and we loved the 2 dishwashers which made cleanup so much easier! There were a lot of various oils and spices in the cabinets but definitely need to bring your own foil and cling wrap/plastic containers for leftovers.The host Richard was great and answered all of our questions, and promptly replaced the empty propane tanks when we needed them.Just a note on packages - the post office does not deliver them to the house. We had to order some bowls from Amazon cause we planned on making ramen one night for dinner, and had to go to the post office to pick them up. They said they don’t deliver anything that won’t fit inside a vessel/mailbox, just FYI.

We have stayed at numerous places in 1000s islands. We have boated past this house so many times and always wanted to stay. Finally they had an opening. You won't find a a better host or house if you have a large family or multiple families. We have already booked for next yr. Highly recommend.
