Beachfront home directly across from beach & park! Close to everything!

Location, location, location!! You can’t beat the location of this property. Literally a 3 minute walk to the beach. My family and I enjoyed our stay here. I will say, however that this house is in desperate need of a makeover and some serious maintenance. The decor is straight out of 1987., but that didn’t bother us at all. There are some lights that didn’t work, for instance the light above the stovetop. The gas fireplace doesn’t work. Would’ve been nice on the cold and windy nights. The deck is in need of repair or replacement, as is the front steps leading to the front door. Several loose and rusty nails on both. I wouldn’t let small kids run around on the deck or the front steps. It’s kinda of a safety issue. All that being said…the house met our needs for 6 adults and one small dog. Melinda was kind enough to let us have a late check out. She communicated very well with me and was always available to answer questions. I would definitely stay here again because of the proximity to shamell park and the beach. I really hope the owner decides to put in some work in repairs, maintenance and updates.

Great place

We have stayed in this property multiple times. Views are unparalleled and being right across Shamel park with its wonderful dog friendly beach is great. Melinda is a great host and is always responsive to questions and comments. Will definitely come back.

The location of this property is great. You are right across from a great beach and park. You can see the sun setting in the evenings, and there is a patio facing it all. I loved the location. The house is old and outdated. It was adequate but not impressive. I felt uncomfortable opening blinds for fear they would fall off the windows. If you don't need to spend a lot of time in the house, this is a great place to stay.
