Our group of 6 enjoyed this house. You can’t beat the location across street from beach and park, views were great. Our group enjoyed the bedrooms, kitchen, living and dining room. Given our make up of two couples and 2 single adults, the house worked great for our needs. Kitchen is well stocked and we cooked at house 4 of 5 nights during our stay. We would rent again.

This property is great for kids as it’s across the street from a playground and pool. And just beyond that is the ocean which connects to a great walking trail. the house supplies almost everything you would need to stay for a few days. Some of the activities that they have recommended on there welcome sheet are no longer available such as the lighthouse and NITWIT RIDGE house

Property was spacious for the 4 of us & my fur-baby. Upon arrival, even though the internet was down, it was fixed promptly and communication with the host Melinda was superb. She even let us check in early & late check out - which was awesome since it was so hard to leave. Can’t wait to return for more memories, laughter & fun!

Our stay in Cambria could not have been better. The house is spacious, well-appointed and in the perfect location. The views of the ocean from both porches makes them the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine. Slept so well listening to the sound of the ocean waves. Across the street is a park and swimming pool. Our host could not have been more helpful. We enjoyed the many shops in Cambria and went 5 miles north to watch the elephant seals twice. We will definitely return and book again.

Family and friend reunion. Loved the ocean, park, hiking trails, Hearst Castle, and all the little coastal towns. The elephant seals, otters, and bird life were precious. The house was in a perfect location. So many things to do. Loved the layout of the house and the view of the ocean at all times. Cooked most meals at home and the layout of the house was perfect for sleeping and socializing. The host was easy to communicate with and very hospitable.

The location of this property is great. You are right across from a great beach and park. You can see the sun setting in the evenings, and there is a patio facing it all. I loved the location. The house is old and outdated. It was adequate but not impressive. I felt uncomfortable opening blinds for fear they would fall off the windows. If you don't need to spend a lot of time in the house, this is a great place to stay.

We have stayed here before and hope to stay again. The home is very comfortable for a group of 6 and could accommodate more. The proximity to Cambria made getting to the holiday lights very easy and that was an incredible experience. The trip to Cayucos and Morro Bay is also easy and permits There are great places to eat in all three cities. There's antique shopping in Cayucos and many shops along the Embarcadero in Morro Bay. There's something for everyone.

Our party of six (four adults, a baby, and a spaniel) loved this stay. Nightly beach walks, deer drive-bys, and daily fetch- something for everyone! It’s an easy walk to town for coffee or sandwiches. Having the park and the beach so accessible was great. Downstairs the house has an older, but usable ping pong table (BYOBalls), air hockey and arcade basketball. We had fun playing there. Thoughtful touches included nightlights, plenty of silverware and serve wear. Basic coffee service is convenient for early morning caffeine. Also super nice surprise: lovely bottle of Cabernet! This house has everything you need for a fun stay. Some things and decor might be considered “dated,” but we found it charming. It reminded us of beach houses our parents rented - in a good way!

This was our first family vacation with our grown kids and their families and we had an absolute amazing time. The house is beautiful and so close to the ocean we slept with doors open to hear the waves 🌊 at night. We can’t wait to go back next year and hopefully make this a family tradition.

We've stayed in this house twice now and have really enjoyed being so close to Moonstone Beach and the park just across the street. Ocean views, cool breezes - wonderful. The house, itself is very well appointed and we found everything we needed without any problems. The beds are comfortable and the other furniture is in good shape and comfy, as well. It's a great property and we will stay there again when we have a party of five or more.

The view is spectacular from almost all areas of the house. Beach and park access are just yards away. House could use some updating inside and out. Be prepared for many stairs outside up to front door and also bedrooms are all upstairs. Comfortable beds. Clean linens and towels. Great communication with Melinda. Great value for a family. Our dogs loved it too!! Loved sitting on the deck looking at Moonstone Beach and the incredible sunset. Loved hearing the ocean day and night. The house appears to be in the process of some updating.

This is a great family-friendly home and our little dog also enjoyed the backyard area. It's just a short drive to Main Street in Cambria, close to hiking trails, and in view of the beach with crashing waves. It's also just a short distance from Cayucos and just a little farther to Morro Bay. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch at the home, then splurged on dinners out. We plan on booking again soon.

Loved our stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and well equipped for our extended family group of 6 adults. The stand-out mention is for the great location with spectacular, unobstructed views. Communication with host, Melinda, was easy. She was so helpful and quick to respond to a couple of questions that came up during our visit. Wonderful place to enjoy Cambria. At night you can hear the waves crashing on the beach. Beautiful views of the ocean. Location is great for walks on the beach. The house was clean & beds comfy. The home is a little dated with decor and fixtures and small oven but we were able to make some good meals.

The stairs to the main entrance has exposed rusty nails, handrail deteriorated with splinters. As we entered the property, encountered spider webs in kitchen, living area, and den area. Spider webs under the couch and under the black leather chairs in the living room. Deck, soft rotting wood on left side of deck, we sat on the opposite side for safety. Previous tenants dishes were in the dishwasher upon our arrival. Queen bed in guest room has exposed metal and squeaked, difficult to sleep. Master bed was comfy. Blinds are rusty, old, and bent. Three clothes hangers for three rooms! I could go on, but what’s the point? Based on previous reviews, we knew the place was dated. The property owner (premier host) stated back in 2022 that complete renovations were underway. ‘Guessing those improvements are delayed. As a safety professional for 35 years, this property has so much deferred maintenance; be mindful during your stay. It’s an incredible location! Beach across from the park… fantastic. The only redeeming factor. We have provided some direct feedback to Melinda to address these concerns.

6 adults had plenty of room, not sure why someone else said it was small for 6 people. The only place that was cramped was the kitchen, if more than a couple of us were in there, which only happened at packing up time. Proximity to the beaches, trails and shopping couldn't be beat. Melinda was super responsive with a couple little hiccups we had, accidentally locking the bedroom doors and an small issue with the kitchen drain. Loved having the doors open and hearing the surf! We will stay here again, when we come back to Cambria!
