About this house rental

3 Bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, 1 king , 2 queen beds. 2 TV's, DVD, WIFI, Keurig, board games, washer dryer, dishwasher, microwave, Santa Maria style BBQ(charcoal only please) , remote-controlled gas log fireplace, wine refrigerator, single garage. This newer, light and airy home, is wonderful! It is only about a half block to Shamel Park, and across the street from the ocean. This is a very comfortable two story home with wonderful ocean views. You enter downstairs, with the two queen bedrooms and then go upstairs to the main level with the king bedroom, kitchen and living room. The BBQ deck is on the back of the house and the main, ocean view deck, is off of the front of the house. Gorgeous ocean views and a great walking area! Short, easy walk to town, restaurants and Moonstone Beach boardwalk.

The views and location are amazing, we loved the close proximity to the ocean and to the little park just a block away. We walked to town, relaxed, and just had a great experience. We took daily walks at the nature preserve just a few blocks away; it is absolutely magical! The house was clean and comfortable, the floor plan was great. The kitchen and appliances were one of the best aspects of the home. A couple things to note, some of the blinds were broken, probably from a lot of use, but it would be great if those were fixed and there was no laundry detergent but we bought some so we could use the laundry.

Staying at this property was a wonderful and very comfortable experience. It is a well-appointed and well-maintained house with a great view of the ocean. Everything you need for in-home cooking is available in the beautiful, spacious kitchen. The primary bedroom is nice and cozy, and the bathroom is very spacious, especially the walk-in shower. We really liked it. We have stayed in Cambria before, but this the first time we have rented a house as opposed to staying in a motel on Moonstone Beach. We had a partial view of the ocean. If we come back to Cambria, we try to rent the same house if available.

Very clean house. The kitchen had everything we needed.. You can see and hear the ocean from the upstairs deck and kitchen. The one bummer was the master bedroom bed. It needs to be replaced. The mattress is tuckered out and we thought the bed frame was going to collapse every time we were on the bed. The garage opening is extra tall, almost 8’ high. A totally awesome modern house!

First off, I thought I would be annoyed having to pick up the keys at the office, but I found it to be a fun introduction to the little town. The manager at the office was super helpful and a delight to work with. The home is located perfectly with glorious views of the ocean and within walking distance of the park nearby (which has a community pool). It's a quick drive to Hearst Castle, the lighthouse and the elephant seal beach. I loved doing dishes with the gorgeous view out the window. The deck is a perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or tea. The kitchen is spacious with top notch appliances. There are tons of spices to choose from, foil, Ziploc bags, even parchment paper. I'm not certain if this is standard but we enjoyed having it available without having to go to the grocery store (Cookie Crock Market--which is a great place to pick up your groceries and surprisingly not too over-priced). The Master Bedroom is upstairs, and the bed is super comfy! The master shower is great! I don't know about the 2 downstairs beds but those we were traveling with us seemed to sleep just great. There are lots of towels and little bar soaps provided. We enjoyed the variety of games in the upstairs cupboard and there is even a puzzle! You'll find loads to do in Cambria! I loved all the different walks and even enjoyed walking up and down the quite hilly streets. We were celebrating the 15-year anniversary of successful kidney transplant from sister to brother. God has blessed both of us with great health and there is so much to be thankful for. We loved dinner at Linn's Restaurant and our celebration dinner of Filet Mignon at Cambria Pines Lodge. I highly recommend both of these establishments as the food is top notch in both! We plan on staying at this beautiful home again!

It's still got that "new house" smell. The views from upstairs are incredible. It was raining the whole weekend so we didn't get to enjoy the deck much. But we definitely enjoyed the push-button convenience of the fireplace. My wife and I went here for a birthday weekend. We've been coming to Cambria for 20 years and this is one of the best houses we've stayed in. The location, the comfort, the amenities can't be beat. And the team at Cambria Vacation Rentals is the best! We'll be back!

The view of the ocean was beautiful, it was an easy walk to the beach and to the park, and just a short drive to downtown.

Our only issues were the broken refrigerator; however, we were warned of this ahead of time and the mini-fridge and freezer provided was sufficient for our stay.

The other issue was the smoke alarm battery alert which went off at 5am on our last day. Unfortunately, the alarm is in the vaulted ceiling and too high to reach. There was no ladder on the premises. Even after opening hours, no one answered the office phone, so there was no way for us to report this. It was a loud alarm that went off every minute, so we had no choice but to leave the property early.

The location is fabulous; lots of coastal spots to explore, easy access to beach or to rocky shore, a pleasant walk to Fiscalini Ranch. Kitchen is terrific for those who like to cook, board games were fun throw-backs for rainy afternoons, acceptable beds, and very nice bathrooms. Heidi and Jone were responsive and the height of professionalism in ironing out a few wrinkles before we arrived.
