The house was as pictured and described. The rooms were spacious and clean. The check-in process was simple and straight forward given the directions provided. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and appliances you might need. My only negative deedback is that the driveways has a very steep decline which can be challenging to maneuver especially is you are driving a smaller vehicle such as a sedan or coupe. The pictures do not really reflect how steep the decline in and took a few tines to figure out the best angle to enter the driveway without scraping the bottom of the vehicle.

We had a lovely short vacation in this lovely home. The situation of the property is excellent with lovely sea views. The property is old but very clean.The only unfortunate thing was that the dishwasher was broken upon arrival which was a disadvantage, but on the whole the house is very nice.

Plenty of pros. The house is near the ocean and up on a hill so the view of the ocean was beautiful and when you opened the windows you could hear the ocean. The layout of the house was great. There was plenty of seating in the living room. We had a wonderful time. I had read the house was dated, it was blue and mauve, but that did not bother us. I had also read the carpet was stained. We knew the house was going to be 1980s and that was fine. We love the front porch because we could hear the ocean. One morning we had a deer and fawn visit us. Window shutters were nice. Carpeting needs to be replaced. The pink carpeting must be from the 1980s. The beige carpeting was old too. It needs to be shampooed. House could have been cleaner. It is dangerous exiting the driveway because the road is very steep and the exit is right below a blind drop off. Master bathroom is missing a curtain or blinds and it looks right in the neighbors’ windows. We left coffee and creamer for the next guests. We also left juice and water in the refrigerator. The rental staff was very friendly and helpful.

We stood the weekend at this beautiful place. The view is amazing, the rooms are a good size, quiet neighborhood, friendly city. Things are a little outdated, and the house does have some wear and tear but that honestly didn’t bug me, we really enjoyed the house over all. We would definitely come back and stay.

The view and location of the property was outstanding. I loved the sitting room with the open windows and the cozy fireplace. The check-in process was a little archaic, I like the lock box method better, especially because we got in a little later than expected and the there was a blackout! The house was beautiful but needs some cleaning and upgrades. Some of he cookware was unsafe to use (pans) and we felt we had to wash everything before we used them, some dirty old dishes. Could use a new coffee pot with some coffee provided for the first day until guests can get to the grocery store. Need to treat for ants, after 10 minutes of cooking the ants would appear on the kitchen sink. Overall we enjoyed our stay but should be aware of the above suggestions.

This house was a perfect size for our family. The living room was cozy and kitchen was nice. 1 bed and bath upstairs and 2 beds and seperate bathroom downstairs worked perfect for us. The views from the living room are absolutely gorgeous and all the windows really let you see the whole beach. The street and driveway were incredibly steep to drive up.

Too many weird things happened that make us think it’s either haunted or someone has a key to the home and enters whenever they want. Lights were turned on, front doors was unlocked, and water was turned on and left running.

(If your an HGTV watcher, you will constantly be thinking about how to remodel.) At its core, it's a 1980's house with great views in a fantastic area. We enjoyed going to Moonstone Beach and walking the boardwalk. I would suggest Hearst Winery which is only 10 miles up 1 as a great spot to take in the view and enjoy some wine tasting. Also don't miss Madelines in downtown Cambria for lunch or dinner. We enjoyed walking around the shops in general as well. We also enjoyed Morro Bay as a nice drive south on 1.

This turned out to be a good place to stay for us. The house has a knock-out ocean view. You can even see the ocean from the guest room! To get this view, though, the house is perched on a very steep hill. That took some getting used to! Everything is dated in the house, but functional. We enjoyed the deck, the floor plan and the location of the house to the sea and town. The property manager was great - quickly responding to any issues we had.

Every window you look out you see the ocean. Spacious and comfortable inside. Furniture is from the 80s...maybe and the carpeting is straight up disgusting in spots. I seriously don't understand why we were not allowed to bring our small dog with us to this home. He's completely house trained and frankly, there wasn't a thing in there that he could have damaged because, like I said, the furniture is very old and the carpeting is stained and dirty. But I don't want that to detract from the overall stay because frankly, we don't look for "fancy" places. We want to feel comfortable and overall, we were at this place. It was just frustrating to see it after being told it wasn't dog friendly.

The step onto the deck from the driveway needs to be repaired (safety issue). Kitchen items: manual can opener doesn't work, measuring cup leaked, no cookie trays , and needs a large casserole dish. It would be nice to have a TV in each bedroom.The driveway enters onto a steep road with a blind spot. A convex mirror at the end of the driveway could help with visibility .
