Welcome to the Artist's Penthouse, a stunning 1400 square foot retreat that comfortably sleeps six. This private, fully furnished two-bedroom, two-bath haven boasts breathtaking ocean and city views from the master bedroom, living room, and kitchen.
Step out onto one of the two decks for some fresh air—one located off the living room and the other an exclusive escape off the master bedroom. Both have expansive views of Catalina Island, downtown San Clemente and on really clear days San Clemente Island.
The penthouse features two smart TVs and panoramic WIFI that easily accommodates streaming, gaming, and more, ensuring a strong and reliable connection.
The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with a gas stove top, microwave, oven, refrigerator with ice maker, and a Nespresso machine for your coffee delights. Cozy up by the fireplace or cook up a feast with our gas grill.
Adorning the walls, the displayed art is created by talented local artists as well as the hosts themselves, adding a personal and creative touch to the space.
A dedicated workspace with a desk is available for those moments of inspiration or necessity.
Each room is equipped with an overhead fan, ensuring your comfort throughout your stay. The penthouse has forced heating to keep you comfortable.
Convenient off-street parking is available, along with lockable storage space at street level for your bikes, surfboards, and more, providing ease and security.

Everything at this beautiful rental is outstanding! There are too many things to list! Everything inside the home is very comfortable and in wonderful condition. It’s spacious and relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is on-site laundry, a fun storage closet with beach chairs/toys/boogeyboards, it’s on a quiet street, neighbors are kind and there is outdoor driveway parking. There is a large furnished patio that is private with unobstructed views of the ocean and a propane grill. The back side of the apartment which has the primary bedroom also has unobstructed ocean views and is very far elevated above the neighbors in back. The primary bedroom also has its own patio with those gorgeous views! The apartment is on a hill and is a short walk to Avenida Del Mar (about 10 min) where a lot of trendy restaurants and shopping are. It’s also about a 15-20 min walk to the beach. San Clemente has a free trolley with stops throughout the area in case you can’t find parking. The owner/managers are outstanding with communication, helpfulness and are super kind. You will have a great time!

The Artist Penthouse is truly a hidden gem! The views of the ocean and San Clemente are absolutely gorgeous—especially at sunset. The space is also filled with beautiful wall art created by the host, which gives it a unique and personal touch.Lisa and Russell went above and beyond to make our stay feel like home; they are some of the nicest hosts I’ve ever encountered.The penthouse is very well equipped for a long, comfortable stay, and the kitchen has everything you need if you enjoy cooking.Highly recommended!

Excellent location! And Russell and Lisa are outstanding hosts! We love to cook and the kitchen had more than everything we needed. Beautiful outside deck with stunning views. We hope to stay there again.

I highly recommend this VRBO! The owners would text just to make sure that everything was going as planed. Gorgeous views of the sunset! They made sure that we could easily park our truck in their drive. They made my husband , dog and I feel very welcomed. This home is very roomy and comfortable. We didn’t cook but there were plenty of dishes, pots and pans, plenty of towel's etc.
