If you are looking for the ultimate home base for a family getaway on Kauai, this house is a hidden gem. The location is absolutely ideal—you are just minutes away from some of the most beautiful beaches on the island, making it effortless to transition from a morning coffee to a swim in the ocean.One of the biggest highlights for us was the proximity to the local food scene. Whether you are looking for a quick, fresh poke bowl or a more formal sit-down dinner, some of the island’s best eateries are just a short drive away.Why Families Will Love It:The Porch: This is truly the heart of the home. It is a massive, inviting space that easily accommodates a large group. It became our go-to spot for reconnecting, sharing meals, and enjoying the evening air.The Soundscape: There is nothing quite like the soundtrack of the Pacific Ocean. Being able to sit on the porch and listen to the waves crashing nearby creates an immediate sense of peace.Seamless Living: The layout is perfect for a multi-generational family or a large group, offering enough space to gather comfortably without feeling crowded.This home offers the quintessential Kauai experience—sun, surf, incredible food, and the perfect atmosphere to slow down and enjoy time with the people who matter most. I would return in a heartbeat!

We rented this beautiful home with 2 adults and 7 young adults. The location is great and I can’t say enough about the front porch. It’s large and beautiful and has 2 big round tables with chairs and a couch. We spent a lot of time out there!! It is across the street from the ocean and we even saw whales from the porch. The rooms are beautiful and beds are comfortable. We did have an issue with the AC that could not be fixed while we were there. It took a couple of days to get someone out to look at it but the finally did and could not immediately get the part needed. The bedrooms stayed very cold and main living area got a bit warm. The owners were very generous and refunded half of our rental cost which we greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend this home as it is beautiful.. We also cooked at this home a couple of nights and it had everything you might need. Plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels.
