About this house rental
Large, beautifully furnished 4 bedroom/3 bath split-level island home is located near Baby Beach. We were unaffected by Hurrican Lowell and we remain fully operational. The section of Hoona Road immediately surrounding our home was not damaged. Sleeps up to 10 guests. We have renovated the interior with new carpet, paint, Travertine tile flooring, bathroom fixtures, granite counters, cabinets, and stainless steel appliances. Upstairs, you will find three bedrooms, two baths, a full kitchen, living room area with flat-screen television, cathedral ceilings, large lanais, and ceiling fans throughout. Downstairs, there is a King bedroom, full bath, and living area with a flat-screen television. Major appliances including washer & dryer, cable, flat screen televisions, Internet Connection, DVD player, and outdoor gas barbecue for guest use. Large private backyard and front are landscaped with coconut trees, tropical flowers and banana trees. This is island living at its finest! Great location. The proximity to Baby Beach and shops, restaurants was great. The place was clean and roomy, as listed. Unfortunately, the weather was extremely hot when we were there and, as described in the listing, the house doesn't have AC so it was very uncomfortable when we were in the house. The bedroom I was in cooled down about midnight, which was fine with me, but overall the house was too uncomfortable.We also had problems with the circuit breakers tripping 3 or 4 times, for example, when you plugged in the coffee maker and the hot water carafe at the same time.There is also a new induction stove, which we had to scan the QR code on the front of the stove to see how it worked. We did find the 2 induction frying pans that work on the stovetop, but the other pans that are provided in the house don't work with that new stovetop. Providing guests with that info would be greatly appreciated.The host was very responsive with sending out someone to fix the hose in one of the bedroom's swamp coolers. We'd called her a couple of times regarding already so decided to fix the tripped breakers and figure out how the stove worked ourselves.

Golf courses, beach, shops were nearby. House was very spacious and clean. Having two refrigerators and two sets of washer/dryer was a plus. The property manager was very friendly and responded promptly to questions.
