About this house rental
Come discover “L’Echoppe Jaurès,” a fully renovated early 20th-century house built of cut stone in the typical Bordeaux architectural style. The house is located in the town of Talence, on the outskirts of Bordeaux (50 m away).
Just a 5-minute drive from the Saint-Jean train station, this property is situated 600 m from the Bordeaux Nansouty neighborhood (a historic, recently renovated area of Bordeaux) where you’ll find all the amenities you need. It is also well-served by public transportation (a bus stop 90 m away with 3 lines, a tram stop just a 10-minute walk away that takes you to downtown Bordeaux, and a V3 bike-sharing station 600 m away).
Ideal for exploring Bordeaux, this 112 m² three-story apartment features:
- 3 suites, including a bedroom with a king-size bed (new bedding), a large walk-in closet, and an en-suite bathroom,
- a living area featuring a living room with a sofa bed, a dining room with a custom-made marble table, and a fully equipped kitchen—all opening onto a terrace with a dining table and a cozy little seating area.
- In the basement, a large stone and rubble-stone cellar houses a laundry area.
It can therefore comfortably accommodate up to 8 people (thanks to its 3 bedrooms and the sofa bed). A travel crib for children can be provided upon request.
EXTRA AMENITIES
• Included: Reversible hot/cold air conditioning, Wi-Fi, 139 cm TV, sheets and bath towels, washing machine, fully equipped kitchen including a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, coffee capsules, etc.
• This property features a free, secure parking space in front of the house, enclosed by an automatic gate—you’ll be provided with a remote control. (A second parking space is available as an option for 60€/night)—street parking is free for 1 hour and 30 minutes (with a parking meter).

We ask guests to clean the property before departure. However, we also provide a mid-stay cleaning service for a flat fee of 50€ per stay.
Pets are not allowed in the house. It’s not that we don’t like them, but for reasons of hygiene and allergies.
Parties and gatherings are not permitted; we are in a quiet neighborhood and must be considerate of our neighbors.

Would thoroughly recommend Echoppe Jaurès as a rental property. Location was ideal for access to trams/ buses into Bordeaux and parking space on property a real bonus. The house was very clean and communication with hosts easy both before and during our stay. The access to the house was very easy and clearly communicated. The outside area was also a bonus as an additional sitting space. We had a superb stay.

The property was clean, very spacious and well equipped with good air conditioning (essential for our stay as the weather was humid).

We chose this area to be outside of a big city like Bordeaux so that we could travel all around the region without fighting through city traffic. This house is a diamond in the rough. It has all the up-to-date finished decor and comfort. Beautiful bathrooms, towels and beddings to return to after long day trips. The kitchen is well equipped. Property owners Alexandre and Precillia are quick to responses and helpful. Overall, we would highly recommend this property for a stay in the Bordeaux suburbs.
