Beautiful stay on a farm close to the Möltaller glacier

Perfect accomodation in a great location with exceptional service. Our room was super clean and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent - with homemade ingredients. The host and her family were lovely and incredibly kind. We hope to come back soon!

Nice view

We stayed here for 7 days as we went skiing. The location of this property is GREAT with really nice view over the valley! Also, they have a room dedicated for storing and drying your boots and schies. The rooms are cozy (we had 1 room with a small kitchen and a double room that had breakfast included). Breakfast was also very good. When we left the host gave us a nice fairwell gift.

There we some negative points also: the floor of the villa's hallway and the floor of the room (with the kitchen only) was squeaking quite bad so I had to sleep withmy ear plugs on if I wanted to sleep past 6:30AM. Every step anyone made in the villa you could hear it ;( Also, as you need to recicle your garbage, you only have one garbage bin in your kitchen so we had to ask for some bags in order to do that - that were lying on the cabinet's floor next to the bin. Overall a good stay here.

Very pleasant welcoming place to stay with a delicious homemade breakfast and beautiful valley views

Beautiful idyllic views of the castle and valley below. Comfortable and large spacious room with lovely balcony overlooking the valley. Helpful staff, and gorgeous cows in the shed - we were welcome to watch the milking session which was fun. The breakfast was delicious with homemade bread and cold meats smoked by the hosts themselves! Honey made by bees kept by the hosts was served with breakfast too, which was very yummy. Great ski room where skiboots could dry overnight. Beautiful wooden corridor with gorgeous antique wardrobe and decorations adding to the rustic atmosphere of the place. Lovely warm cosy place. Interesting bathroom cubicle with a shower where you have the option to sit and enjoy your shower for 2. Nice touches like a little chocolate left for each guest and one evening hosts left homemade donuts for us.

Cozy farmhouse

Perfect farmhouse experience, cozy warm spacious rooms with everything you need. You wake up to the sound of birds, fresh air, beautiful hills and grazing sheep and then you can enjoy an amazing breakfast prepared by the host Hanni from her own produce. Cheeses, meats, youghurt, jam and freshly baked pastries. Its only a 15min drive to the Molltaller ski area and there is a ski room where you can store your skis and dry your boots on a special heater. There are also nice walking trails nearby.

We would love to visit again!

We are a family with a seven year old boy from Singapore. The farm family gave the warmest smiles when we first arrived. They are really sincere and wonderful people who took great care of our needs. My child had so much fun attempting the farm activities. Ms Honey and Anna took him around and he tried many things like tractor rides, collecting hen eggs, carrying quails and guinea pigs.. also milking the cow! It was a wonderful experience for him! He grew to love the farm and was very happy staying for three days. We love the breathtaking views on Ramacherhof perched on a mountain. So gonna miss the farm and their family. The breakfast was amazing too! 👏 great effort from the Ranacherhof family! We had such a great stay!

Our stay at the Ranacherhof was an exceptional and memorable experience

It was one of the best accommodations we have ever experienced! The host was incredibly kind and friendly, always going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. The accommodation itself was amazing. We had an amazing view from our balcony. The room had everything we needed for the week, even could watch Netflix on the TV in the evenings! The breakfast was exceptional, with a wide range of options to choose from. We particularly loved the freshly baked pastry and the homemade cheeses. It was the perfect way to start the day. The location was breathtaking, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. I have never seen anything so beautiful. The tranquility and peacefulness of the area was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The overall atmosphere of the Ranacherhof was very chill. We felt like we could truly relax and unwind, surrounded by beautiful scenery and a welcoming environment. One of the things that made our stay at the Ranacherhof even more special was the presence of the farm animals. We loved seeing the cows and ducks grazing in the nearby fields, but what we loved the most were the cats! They were so cute and friendly, always coming to say hello and looking for some attention. They really added to the overall charm and homely feel of the place. It was a joy to have them around! Overall, we would highly recommend the Ranacherhof to anyone looking for a truly exceptional accommodation experience. The kind and friendly host, amazing accommodations, exceptional breakfast, breathtaking location, clean and comfortable room, and chill atmosphere all make for an unforgettable stay.

A perfect stay!

Everything was perfect, we would definitely stay in Ranacherhof again! Even though we stayed in the room without a kitchen we had refrigerator, basic tableware, kettle and a great selection of organic teas, so that you could still feel comfortable having a tea or a snack there. It's very quiet in the room and the view from the balcony is excellent. The breakfast was beyond any expectations and the most precious thing about it was the products from the owners' farm and the garden. In addition to that we have got the card which allowed us to visit most of local attractions for free. The highlight of our stay was a short tour around the farm, which was very interesting, thank you very much for that!

You will feel almost like at home.

The location is very convenient for the skiing in Mölltaler Gletscher, just 15 minutes drive from the gletscher express station. As the farm is situated in the hills above the village, it provides a great view of Obervellach and the whole valley. You will love their fantastic breakfast prepared from home-made products, including bread and rolls, marmelade, müsli, ham and speck, salami, variety of cheese, butter etc. The host is great and I am sure they would be happy to make you a tour around their farm.

Nothing really of a great importance. The bed could be a bit more comfortable, but someone who likes softer beds would not agree with me. I would appreciate more electric sockets, but that's solvable.

Worth to return back again

This place is amazing, as well as the host and the location. We had beautiful clean room for two with a balcony and magnificient view. It had everything you needed and even more than we expected. It was great to have breakfast in the morning but this breakfast was more like a celebration every morning with fresh baked rolls, homemade dips, sausages, cheese...I mean, you had it all. Just amazing. Thanks to Hanni and her hospitality and kind attention.

Velmi příjemné ubytování na statku.

Bydleli jsme tu dvě rodiny. Kamarádi měli velký byt ve druhém patře, my a naše děti jsme měli dva pokoje v prvním patře. Pokoj pro dva byl bez kuchyně a byl se snídaní, pokoj pro tři byl s malou kuchyňkou. Kdyby jela jedna rodina, doporučuji horní byt, kde byla opravdu prostorná kuchyně, kterou jsme využívali všichni společně. Ubytování je na rodinném statku, paní se o nás moc dobře postarala a ve všem nám vyšla vstříc. Snídaně byly dobré a pro dva toho bylo opravdu hodně. Jedno odpoledne jsme se s dětmi byli podívat ve chlévě na dojení krav, králíky, kozy a další drobná zvířata. Byli jsme tu v zimě, tak jsem se trochu bál sjízdnosti úzké příjezdové silnice, ale i když opravdu hodně nasněžilo, prohrnuli ji brzy ráno a byla bezproblémově sjízdná.
