Memorable holidays in Austria

We vacationed with friends, several families. The hosts were very hospitable. We liked everything. Although the location seems to be close to the road, in reality, you don't notice it at all. The hosts gave us recommendations for ski resorts and were ready to answer any questions. On the evening of our arrival, they organised a burger party for the guests. We recommend this place for a holiday. The rooms are spacious and well laid out.

A super cozy place in the middle of the mountains, with a lovely host

We were traveling by bike on the Alpe Adria route. The woman who was our host was the kindest person we met on the entire trip. She was incredibly dedicated to running the property, and we felt genuinely looked after by her. The accommodation itself had a wonderful atmosphere, and even though we stayed in other, equally interesting places, looking back, this is the one we rated the highest.

The fact that we could only spend one night there ;)

Great stay indeed

We liked absolutely everything. First of all the owners are great people- welcoming and supportive in every aspect of our stay. The property is beautiful, super well maintained . The yard is beautiful, the proximity of the river is very relaxing. The apartment we stayed in was very clean , spacious , and every detail was thought in favor of the guests. The mattresses really comfortable. We enjoyed the local breakfast and its presentation- great value for money. We also enjoyed at burger evening - a very nice event. The burgers and the atmosphere were great! The apartments are at walking distance of other restaurants and short driving distance to beautiful places in nature. We will sure be back !

Relaxing family holiday

We especially liked the lovely hosts, who created a memorable vacation experience for our whole family. It was the perfect balance between a holiday accommodation and extra services, as breakfast or optional dinner to relax and enjoy exploring around.

The location is next to the street, but this didn't really bother us, as the windows can be fully closed and the noise cancelation was excellent.

Superb

The hosts are super friendly, welcoming and passionate about their wonderful place in Mallnitz. This was the feeling before arriving, during our stay and when leaving :-) The appartment was very clean, newly renovated and all in all very comfortable. It was perfect. Easy accses to the garden that is very cozy with plenty of activities for the kids and great relaxing area for the adults. The hosts are arranging a barbecue dinner a couple of times during the week in the summer which you can sign in to for reasonable pricing. The location is within a few min. drive to Mallnitz “center” and beutifull hiking trails in the lovely mountains.

The apartment was freshly renovated and very well-equipped. The bedrooms are a bit small but it is not a big deal because you anyways spend more time outside or in the living-dining which was pretty spacious. There was a very nice pizza evening organized by the owners and also a snowshoe walk included in the stay price.

The only minor issue might be the location because the property is at the beginning of the village but it is just 10 mins walk to the city center

The best accommodation we had! Nice apartment, great breakfast and view into the mountains.

What a nice stay we had. Communication was excellent and breakfast service option were well arranged. The apartment is cosy, well equipped with every luxury you need and the mountain views are fantastic. After a day of skiing you can put your ski boots and skis in the ski room, and then in the morning we had nice warm ski boots;) We would love to come back again Thanks Annemiek, Erik and Willem-Jan

Very good

Cute and stylish small apartment, with a comfortable big bed. Wonderful breakfast, a lot of kitchen stuff and tools (capsule coffee machine, kettle, toaster). Good wifi, and enough parking slots. Very friendly hosts, and lovely territory. It's close to hiking spots (by foot), to Billa, and to the ski slope (by car).

If you prefer to cook the kitchen could be too tiny for that. If you're traveling with pets you may also require more space. Next time we'll choose a bigger apartment in Mallnbach Apartments :)

Nice apartement with great view into the mountains! One of the best accomodations we had...

I liked the way Annemiek checked us in and gave us lot of information about the area;) We booked breakfast, what was very good and with local products. The accomodation is wel located, with view out of the apartment into the mountains! The specious garden can be used and the pizza night was great, meet other guests and enjoyed the campfire! We really visit this great spot again.

Cozy and relaxing

Mallnbach Apartments is a cozy and relaxing place. I just stayed one night after a long hike and I had the chance to reload the batteries for the day after. The kitchen and the bathroom are really nice! And last, but not least, the host family is really friendly and ready to help you. I will definitely come back here for more days (:

Wonderful hospitality in a picturesque setting.

Lovely apartments in a beautiful setting with warm, gracious hosts. The spacious grounds afford excellent views of the mountains and abut a beautiful brook. Our hosts prepared and hand-delivered a lovely breakfast, which was a nice touch. Another bonus was the free use of bikes, a great way to explore the valley; I would expect nothing less from Dutch hosts!

Probably this was the most professional and still the friendliest accommodation we had in Europe ever. Owners made us to feel like staying at friends: organized a campfire with marshmallows, a hamburger night, always had a time to stop for a few kind words - and the apartment was comfy, clean, spacious and with huge windows we could always just sit down and enjoy the mountain view.

A comfy weekend

Good location close to the train station. Very quiet and scenic. Basic kitchen well equipped. Nice and flexible hosts.

Though well located, it's not so close to the village and there's no sidewalk - to keep in mind if on foot. Breakfast is good but one might expect more local products instead of, say, Dutch cheese. Apartment was a bit small. Compost could be implemented.

Perfect location for hiking and biking in Nationalpark Hohe Tauern!

What a nice location to spend the night. The huge garden was wonderful to relax in, snug in the new hammocks overlooking the mountains, great to end a day of hiking. We enjoyed the homemade pizza that Erik and Annemiek make us and other Guests. The next day we used the free bikes that are on site to do some shopping in the village. All in all a wonderful stay that we recommend.

A perfect base to explore the gorgeous Mallnitz area

Our entire stay here was perfect. The modern apartment was very comfortable and cozy. It is very apparent that a lot of care and thought were put into it. The common garden area was a highlight, most especially the little relaxing nook by the river. The location is also very strategic as it is near to numerous hiking trails. There is no shortage of things to see and do here. The hikes we had here were some of the best hikes we have ever done. This area has so much natural beauty and breath-taking views - from mountains, waterfalls, lakes, forests. A big part of our great experience here was the hospitality and friendliness of the hosts. They went out of their way to ensure that we get a great experience here. Their tips (on where to go, where to eat, etc.) helped us make the most out of this trip. They also orchestrate a nice social atmosphere by organizing pizza and burger evenings. With Annemiek, Erik, and Willem Jan, you are in good hands. We simply loved our stay here. In fact, we were only supposed to be here for a week, but we decided to extend for another week. We are looking forward to coming back.

Perfect spot for a nice gataway in Mallnitz

It's was a nice stay at Mallnbach Apartments, Annemiek, Erik and Willem Jan are such nice hosts. With my electric car I could use the charge point on location, what was very nice. In the evening they made home made hamburgers for the guests, what was very good and I met some new people;) All in all a good stay in a modern apartement with good facilities and a fair price vs quality

Perfect location for winter, Easter, summer ...

A perfect place for our bigger group, a possibility to stay there in 13 people (+ 1 dog) in 3 different appartments (one big 3-room and two smaller 2-room appartments). Very pleasant host (Mrs. Annemiek and her family), she tries to reconstruct the site and she is succesfull :-) More reachable destination for "Easter Skiing" (Moeltaller Gletscher, Bad Gastein - via car shipping by train ...). A nice location for mountain walks.

We stayed at Mallnbach Apartments over the holidays (New Year's Eve) and our stay there was just absolutely wonderful! Annemiek & Erik are so kind and accomodating, and they organized a bonfire for the guests in the evening and had some Dutch specialties too to kick off the new year! The apartment was comfortable, clean and big enough for 4 adults. It was such a nice surprise to find a little welcome-gift in our apartment waiting for us upon arriva tool! :) There was also a map of the area and you can ask Annemiek and Erik for recommendations too, we went to Weißensee and it was a fun winter outing. Overall a lovely experience, I can only recommend it to future guests! :)

Very friendly hosts, who were open to all our requests and had a lot of offers of the local activities. Very nice views from the windows to the mountains. Cosy living room with good space arrangement.

We could hear our neighbours little bit more then we´d like to, but good sides of the accomodations prevailed.
