Accommodation description:
This detached, rustic chalet is 1350 meters above sea level in the wilderness of Carinthia, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The chalet can be reached via a good tarmac road; the last 3 km is on an excellent forest road. Cooking here is done on the wood-burning stove, and the hot water is heated with wood. A gas cooker is also available. Electricity is paion-sitete (coin meter). This is the place for a relaxing holiday with a real alpine feeling!
The area is home to beautiful hiking trails, various sports activities, and impressive flora and fauna. In summer, the public swimming pool in Obervellach and the Greifenburg bathing lake offer plenty of swimming fun, and the famous Millstätter See can also be reached by car in about 30 minutes. You can ski on the Mölltal Glacier, with 36 kilometers of slopes (also with a fun park) from October to mid-May. The equally well-known Ankogel/Mallnitz ski area offers around 13 kilometers of slopes. Obervellach is located in the border triangle of Austria, Slovenia, and Italy, making cities like Trieste, Udine, Venice, Villach, and Klagenfurt easy to visit. For your daily shopping, there are numerous shopping opportunities in Obervellach. Products from its farm are available from the landlord
Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine
