HOSTEL LOVELY ROOMS CITY CENTER, shared Bathroom

Great location, just an 8-minute walk from Villach Hbf and right in the middle of the old town. Easy check-in and clear information. We were four girls, and we were allowed to choose from the available rooms. The host was very attentive and made sure to recommend the best option for a good night’s sleep. The room was simple but comfortable, with four beds, a sofa, an armchair, a window, and air conditioning, which the host checked before leaving us to settle in. The kitchen was right next door and had everything we needed, as well as a shelf in the fridge for our room, some basic supplies, and coffee. The host showed us where everything was. There were two toilets and two bathrooms, all very clean and nicely maintained, located close to the rooms. The host was genuinely kind, friendly, talkative, and very helpful. Overall, a really pleasant stay.

The place is a little dated and probably not the most allergy-friendly, but it was really cosy, so we honestly have nothing to complain about there. The only thing worth mentioning is that the host kindly informed us about the tourist tax via Booking.com on the day of arrival, but didn’t mention that it had to be paid in cash. Luckily, we had just enough, but as it was towards the end of our trip, we didn’t have much cash left. It would have been helpful to know this in advance, especially since the information was sent out on the day.

Host was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed! Room was clean and better than in the photos. Bathroom was also very clean and better than in the photos. Also red lights above the bed were nice. The location is amazing!
