Located on the 1ᵉʳ floor of a 19ᵉ century stone building, Le Verdé will win you over with its charm and decoration. It offers you every comfort, blending modernity and old-world charm, for an exceptional stay in Bordeaux. Entirely renovated, just a few steps from the Grand Théâtre, Place de la Bourse, Rue Sainte-Catherine and the Quays, Le Verdé has a room that can comfortably accommodate two travellers.
This accommodation is composed as follows
- A lovely, cosy living room with a sofa, coffee table and television.
- A beautiful open kitchen with a central island, equipped with a fridge, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine and plenty of kitchen utensils.
- One bedroom with a Queen-size double bed (160x200) and storage space.
- Beautiful bathroom with walk-in shower
- Separate WC
- 5 m² terrace with table and four chairs
A little history:
The Saint-Pierre district is considered to be the birthplace of Bordeaux. It was only natural that this former Gallo-Roman port, which would become a medieval city, should take the name of the patron saint of fishermen. In the 12ᵉ century, the port was filled in. The ramparts of the walled city fell in the 18ᵉ, with the development of the Place de la Bourse. What remained was the defensive Cailhau Gate, 35 metres high, and pedestrian or semi-pedestrian lanes whose names recall the district's commercial and craft vocation: rue des Argentiers, rue des Bahutiers, or rue du Chai des Farines. In the 16ᵉ century, the district was also populated by bourgeois families around the church of Saint-Rémi.
Public transport :
- Tramway Line C, place de la Bourse, 50 m walk - direct to the station in 15 min
- Tramway Line B, Grand Théâtre, 80 m away on foot - direct to the wine museum in 15 min
- Free Vcub bike hire station 100 m away, on Place de la Comédie, making it easy to visit and get around Bordeaux.
- A car park is located under the Place de la Bourse 100 m away.

The host greeted us as soon as we arrived. He explained everything to us about the apartment. The bed was comfortable, the shower was nice, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The spiral stone staircase to get into the apartment is narrow, but we managed without any problems.

Le Verdé "This is a comfortable apartment in an ideal location.
🙂 It is right in the heart of this gorgeous old city, close to the sights, the river and the restaurants. It was spacious, clean, and brightly-decorated. It had all the facilities you would need.
🙁 It was rather dark. The corridor and stairs outside the apartment were a bit grim and the light switch outside the flat - essential as it was pitch black without artificial light - was temperamental."

Le Verdé "This place was very close to all the shopping and close to the mirror. Pictures are accurate. Nice center island in the kitchen. And a bit of street noise in the morning with all the commotion of people getting their day started.
A bit hot and there were no fans, but had to communicate with the maintenance to get a fan if it is cloudy, it is a bit dark inside, and the lights must be turned on overall very nice"
