About this villa rental
Pretty and spacious Norman farmhouse restored and equipped, absolute calm, in the heart of nature, 5 minutes from the sea, between Etretat and its sublime cliffs, and Fécamp.
Rental labeled with four holiday keys, EXCELLENT level.
The house is located near a castle in the fields, and has 2500 m2 of flowered and maintained garden. It has ten rooms in total, including,
On the GROUND FLOOR the house has a living room of 40 m2, dining room, American kitchen, library room, then DVD TV room, wifi box. Two bedrooms with two separate beds in each. There is still an additional bedroom, transformed into a games room with two cots for 2-6 year olds.
Two additional sofa beds of 140x190 cm - bed linen is provided on request.
To add a bathroom with shower and toilet, and yet another separate toilet. The bedrooms on the first floor have individual access to the garden, and therefore accessible to disabled people.
ON THE FIRST FLOOR: five bedrooms, two of which are adjoining, with a total of 3 double beds 140 x 200 cm, two beds for children 2-6 years old, 4 single beds, a baby cot. To be added, bathroom with shower, and separate toilet. Access by decorative external staircase, not to be used.
The house can accommodate up to 16 adults maximum. The presence of any person may generate an additional flat rate payable on site and is on request (bed linen will not be provided in this case)
Heating - electric radiators and fireplace, interior insulation in perfect condition. The kitchen is equipped with a wide range of utensils, oven, microwave, two refrigerators, a freezer, raclette machine. Bed linen, bath towels, kitchen linen, toilet/bathroom items are provided. The garden is equipped with a barbecue, garden furniture, children's games, hut, slide.
BASIC RULES:
The arrival time is set at 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. but it can be flexible, as long as you ask us at least three days in advance, and only for weekend rentals.
The departure time is set at 10:00 am but we can grant it for 12:00 pm if you ask us at least three days before your rental. For departures of weekly rentals - inventory of fixtures before 10am on Saturday morning.
When you leave, the garbage cans must be emptied, you have a grey container available. It is located at the beginning of the small path in the fields. We will be grateful if you remove your sheets and deposit them on the first floor in front of the stairs, but this is not an obligation! The house must be tidied up and the furniture moved back in its place. The fireplace and the barbecue must be cleaned, this is not part of the cleaning option.
As a reminder, the cleaning price is 150 euros, it is included in the price of your rental. We offer additional cleaning, at the price of 10 euros/hour, on request.
The tourist tax is included in the rental price.
You have the option of late check-out for 100 euros, to be paid on arrival. This option is not possible for weekly rentals. Any arrival AFTER 9 p.m. will be taxed at 100 euros!
The rental is suitable for 16 people, the presence of any additional person will incur a fee of 50 euros/night/person. Otherwise, we will not provide bed linen.
Parties are not allowed if they cause noise nuisance for our neighbours. Meals are not offered, however a welcome basket can be prepared on request. Please do not take your meals in the rooms.

Garden furniture should be stored in the shack behind the house when you leave or in rainy weather.
Children are welcome! A playroom is intended for them, as well as outdoor equipment. Please store the toys when you leave in the children's room, number 5 on the first floor. The garden is enclosed, but your supervision is necessary, we are in the countryside! (insects, nettles). Please close the shack (dangerous gardening tools, tractor). A football field is available in the village and is located behind the church, about a hundred meters from the house. Noisy games are not allowed, we thank you for respecting the calm of our neighbors.
We love animals and we ourselves have dogs and cats that are part of our family. Please do not leave them unchecked (runaways possible and road nearby). It is forbidden for them to sleep in

We enjoyed our week in Normandy. There was plenty of space in the house and garden for our large group (seven adults, seven teenagers and a dog!), and the house is well-located a short drive away from several lovely beaches and towns.
Karine was extremely helpful and prompt in responding to messages, both before and during our visit.
A few things to be aware of. Some of the bedrooms can only be reached through other bedrooms, which isn't clear from the description. This would work well for families with younger children, but wasn't ideal for a group of adults and teenagers. And while the description lists four bathrooms, there are actually only two showers and three toilets (one of which wasn't working properly during our visit). This detail is easy to miss in the description. The kitchen area is also very small for such a large house, though it has a good oven and hob, plus two fridges and two freezers.
Overall, the house was good value for money, and a good base for a large group to explore a beautiful area.

We spend 2 weeks in this beautiful house. 3 generations under one roof, and everybody enjoyed it a lot. My mom is handicapped and needs a wheelchair to get around. Also the doors were just wide enough they were still a bit tight and she couldn't use the shower as it has a 30 cm ledge to overcome. So it's not really handicap friendly...
For the rest of us it was great! The yard is huge and beautiful. It is very peaceful there as the house is set back from the main road. There is only 1 direct neighbour, but almost hidden by big trees and shrubs. The other sides are fields with linen and sheep, which the kids loved. The yard is well equipped with loungers, compfy chairs and a big dining tables with enough chairs for 16 people! We loved the stone bbq and used it a few times to prepare dinner. The kitchen is well equipped as well for cooking. We had everything we needed and more...You will also find an espresso machine and normal coffee machine for your daily fix, as well as a water cooker, if you prefer tea. The house itself has many nice bed rooms to choose from with compfy beds and lots of pillows! I could go on and on, but bottom line is we would all love to come back one day, if possible having such a good time here! Thank you, Elene and family!

Ideally located, south orientation (sunshine throughout the day) and very clean this beautiful villa is not far from the beach and only 10 minutes from the Port and its restaurants, shops. Thank you to the owners for the availability and the welcome gift ! It was a very nice stay. We loved the Normandy and we will be back again.
