A peaceful and comfortable place to stay near the Normandy historic sites.

Quiet, clean and comfortable facilities. The staff were very helpful and accommodating to our request to cook our own meals in the shared kitchen. The location was also well suited for visiting the Nornandy battle sites.

Great location, comfortable, large pet friendly apartment with a wonderful host.

Great countryside location convenient to Bayeux. Our 2 bedroom apartment was comfortable and we loved the walks in the gardens. It is pet friendly and our host, Gregory, was helpful with advice and greeting us each morning with a delicious breakfast. It’s not far from the Normandy beaches.

We enjoyed staying here, it was not quite what we expected but we still enjoyed ourselves.

Spacious and quiet. We liked the pool table and the swimmers no pool. There were 3 bathrooms and a big dining area.

Felt like it needed a bit of update with the utensils, pots and pans etc. We didn’t have an outside terrace as the apartment was mostly upstairs. We did take a table and chairs and put them outside the entrance, so we had an outdoor space to sit in. I think it was a bit overpriced but it was a very big apartment.

It has a a very good vibe: in the nature, but with everything that is needed for comfort. Gregory, the landlord provided everything that we needed.

A tranquil stay

We stayed for 3 nights. The host is wonderful and everything was good. It's a perfect location. You are in the midst of nature we had a perfect view over the little stream and even saw an European beaver family.

Our room / bed was on the small side but the room had the best view. For what we got and for the price we paid it was as expected.

Great value stay in a beautiful location very close to Bayeux and all amenities.

A quiet rural valley and a lovely converted watermill complex, you would be forgiven for thinking you were miles from the nearest town, but, Moulin Morin is only a 10 minute drive from the centre of Bayeux and only 5 minutes from LeClerc. The rooms are clean and comfortable (but don't expect 5 star) and benefit from a large open plan lounge downstairs adjoining a large dining room and a fully fitted kitchen which guests are allowed to use (fridge, cooker, toaster etc.). Its like being in a large AirBNB but sharing with other people. If you had a large family event and wanted 4 rooms this would be excellent choice. The breakfasts were excellent and a tray of food was prepared for each room and laid our ready on the dining table from 08:00. Gregory was an excellent host and although we had a couple of issues he was able to resolve them quickly and with a smile. We will happily return and bring more family next time.

I have seen previous feedback referring to noise from upstairs. I believe there are further rooms upstairs and we did experience the sound of walking on one night only - so sound proofing is a slight issue. However, we were not disturbed by anyone on the first floor. There was a technical problem with the boiler and we could only get luke warm water to the showers and sink. Gregory did his best to sort this out and I believe the plan is to update the boiler.

Very pleasant stay.

It was a beautiful setting. The two appartments were well equiped and big. We had a very pleasant stay I had a problem with the payment link. I contacted the owner by phone and he was very helpful and pacient when I explained to him that I will try the next evening as we were on the road the whole day.

Perfect, picturesque estate for exploring Normandy

This was one of our best stays in 2 years. Thoughtful details, gorgeous grounds, close to town...I wish we'd booked an extra night just to enjoy the house and gardens. This was a large property with creek, playground, and a few apartments. Bayeux is central to many activities in the region, and only minutes away.

No complaints. Do note that there are stairs and they can be a bit steep for some people, but definitely not a complaint. The washing machine was finnicky, so pay attention to the host's guidance in the booklet.

Comfortable stay, I recommend having a car.

The property was beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable. It’s a pretty long walk from any restaurants, grocery, or destinations and there were no Ubers. There is a taxi service in town but it’s not easy to get a hold of. I would recommend only staying here if you have a car.

Lovely stay!

We needed a restful place with a washing machine and dryer and Moulin Morin fit the bill! The accommodation is set in lovely surroundings and the place itself was very spacious. Gregory our host was always responded quickly and did his best to help.

We found it quite strange that despite a well equipped kitchen etc there were no toiletries provided such as shower soap or shampoo.

Perfect!

Amazing property, much bigger than we expected. Very good value for money. The outdoor surroundings were beautiful, we sat outside watching the sunset and the moon come up. Kids loved the play area and plenty of space to run around. Very clean and very well equipped property. No complaints at all!

Beautiful setting! the property was lovely with plenty of walking areas, ample parking space, clear running brook, ducks, and lots of picturesque opportunities! learned this property was built in 1300 as a water mill. parts of the mill are still visible. The apartment was spacious, comfortably furnished with a full size kitchen. The gas stove was marvelous! Everything was clean and inviting and the owner, Grègory, was helpful from the minute I booked the apartment. He was warm and welcoming, meeting us at the apartment and orienting us to our surroundings.
