Vineyard on the Hill

Wine, pool and views, staff were brilliant! Great snacks in place of no cooked food

Location was good except when there was NO where to eat on a Tuesday when the associated restaurant was closed and the hotel was fully booked - private taxi in Udine 8 miles away was 30x the price of the train (that was very infrequent)

Less menu options for long term stay but the chef was able to cook something for my son.

Heavenly castle for a romantic getaway, eat onsite!

Stunning views and location. Exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff. The onsite restaurant deserves a Micheline star. Best meal we had in our week stay in Italy The property was beautifully renovated with modern comforts.

Mindful that this is a renovated castle, these observations should be taken in context. The rooms are small, the bathroom smelt, and there are no lifts.

Tranquility

It has been our 4th stay at "Castello di Buttrio" and as always it was very pleasant. Cosy beds and a very nice breakfast in the garden. Make sure to have dinner at the "Locanda".

Great location in the middle of vineyards and accommodation in a beautifully restored castle, friendly staff.

Someone made beds that were too short, unresponsive in solving problems, especially if you were in a hotel for a short time. I would especially like to mention the restaurant within the complex, which is by no means sufficient for the higher level of accommodation in the hotel. I absolutely do not recommend.
