Property was good and clean but a little dated, small things like milk tea and coffee unavailable and the fridge had a stale smell about it. Shower/bath and toilet were good and in a good size bath room. Kitchen lounge and dining area worked well, also nice to be able to open large sliding door for fresh breeze and the sounds of the street, made you feel right in it, but shut the door and the sounds all gone.Location was geographically great, except being above a pub next to a lap dance club, and having drunk or drugged people hanging around the entrance after dark. (Only happened once in 4 nights)Over all a good stay, close to everything.

Clean and comfortable and very quiet apartment We loved that it was within walking distance to lots of restaurants, pubs, train stations (Queen Street and Central Stations) as well as many tourist attractions. The building is a bit older looking and the street has several bars, so busy on the weekend but the apartment was modern, very clean and very quiet. We would stay again!!

One major problem that skewed what would have otherwise been an excellent stay. The place is great. Feels spacious, clean, modern and safe. The location was great for me as I was getting the train back from Edinburgh late so didn’t have far to walk and the walk was a safe, busy route. My only issue was that the flat, mostly the living and kitchen area, stinks of old smoke and febreeze mixed together. I wanted to work from the flat in the mornings but ended up having to find somewhere else to work. I’m not particularly smell sensitive and it’s the first time I’ve had an issue like this staying somewhere. That said, the bedroom was fine, and it didn’t smell in there. This likely would have been a 5 star stay if it weren’t for that.
