About this apartment rental
This charming apartment lies in an old, well-established, friendly, safe, and quiet Sanford neighborhood surrounded by expansive grounds, mature live oak trees, and colorful gardens. Downtown Sanford is an easy 16-block walk or bike ride passing historic, restored residences. Once downtown, you'll encounter seemingly endless sightseeing, shopping, dining, and relaxation opportunities in our many varied and unique shops, restaurants, pubs, and micro-breweries.
The grounds and gardens offer a pleasant environment to stroll and a popular venue for photographing bridal reveals and engagements.
The private apartment exudes an "old Florida" feel, boasting original pickled cypress paneling, large living room and bedroom, and a newly-remodeled, full kitchen. Two outside decks offer leisurely relaxation in a garden setting with views of the 1-acre grounds and park across the street. The bedroom has a reading area, desk & chair, and a king-size bed. The living room has seating for nine and a 40" flat-panel "smart" television with over-the-air channels and basic free video streaming. If you have a compatible streaming account, you can log in with your credentials and enjoy those services. We also provide free high speed Wi-Fi Internet access.
The apartment is on the second floor at the top of a 16-step stairway. It is not handicap accessible.
We are on a 2-block long street with a "tee" intersection at each end, where traffic is minimal and "well-behaved". We provide one off-street parking space. Additional parking is always available on the street.
One exterior security camera monitors the stairway leading to the north deck of the Rooftop Garden Apartment.
