• Neighborhood is known for friendliness and liveliness!
• Pedestrians pass house frequently
• Perfect location to hang out on porches, listen to local music, and say hello to passersby
• City events with nearby street closures are common (food trucks, night markets, art/music/food festivals)
• Restaurants/bars within 500ft with late night hours
• On weekends you will see many people living their best life
• Street parking directly in front is usually available, but may crowd during busy times. City regulates parking. Parking spot cannot be reserved.
• Three porch stairs up to enter house, no handrail
• Backyard has a privacy fence, but it is possible to see neighbors and for them to see you.
• Paved alleyway on side of house: connects to the rear of businesses/private parking for business owners only/alleyway used for city vehicles

We stayed for 5 nights in order to attend a wedding in Sanford. We loved the location close to breweries and places to eat. We did not have a rental vehicle and got everywhere we needed by foot or Uber/Lyft. The place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Down to the nice big umbrella we used the last night we were there as it was pouring out! We liked hanging out on the front porch, which is also where I practiced yoga two mornings. We also loved the bed; it was amazingly comfortable!! If you’re thinking of staying, don’t hesitate at all!

The house was great! Great location! Comfortable adjustable beds. The owner, Kristin, was amazing! Super responsive, friendly, and thought of everything we might need. If I thought of something I wanted, I opened a cabinet and there it was! She even went to the house to leave an extra beach towel for us before we arrived. I’d give her more stars if I could. Highly recommend!

Super cute historical home in such a groovy little town with a fun downtown area. There was an adorable porch with lights, and everything was walkable. Oh, and a white noise machine. Great place!
