Quiet, quiet. Unbeatable privacy but close to amenities and outdoor activities. Walk (don't drive) to Pikes Peak Cog Railway, Barr Trail, Manitou Incline. "Residents Only" street so should be no tourist traffic and no tourist noise. FREE on-site, off-road parking for 3 vehicles. Two living rooms. 10 foot ceilings. Unique architecture. Chef's kitchen. Granite counter tops. Stainless appliances. Free Wi-Fi. Two OnDemand HDTVs. Relax on wrap around Old-World balcony and patios overlooking valley, Pikes Peak Cog Railway, and Ruxton Creek. There are 33 historic narrow steep stairs with railing up toward the home from parking area; not conducive for those with back, knee, or mobility issues. There are two original steep and narrow carpeted stairways inside.
Children must be supervised at all times and are allowed on property at Guest’s own risk. Property is steep with no railings on terraces.

*Base rate is for 2 guests; each additional guest is $25/per night. Any on-site day-use guest who is not included in the overnight reservation is $25/per person/per day.

Our family of four stayed for 4 nights. We loved the location. We were able to walk into downtown Manitou Springs as well as the trailhead for the Barr Trail is only a 3 min walk. Great views from the balcony. Home was equipped with everything we needed and then some.

The house itself was in good working order. Its an older house but was cozy. The stairs to get to the house and to leave were diabolical. I would not reccomend this home to anyone older with physical difficulties or anyone with kids.
