All aboard! This fantastic home has been a favorite destination for travelers since 2014 and has recently changed ownership. We're looking forward to continuing the same spectacular guest experiences for years to come.
Built in 1884 but recently renovated, Manitou Getaway is located in the heart of the Mount Manitou Canyon area. Enjoy the best of everything without going far! You'll be within walking distance of the world famous Incline trail and Barr trail or have fun exploring over 16 nearby trails for hikers of all abilities.
Manitou Getaway has all you need for a memorable stay. Featuring four bedrooms and three and half baths, the home accommodates 12 guests. A modern kitchen and two living spaces make this a great base camp for exploring all of the attractions in the Pike's Peak region.
Relax after a long day on the covered front porch or enjoy grilling your favorite dinner on the private rear patio. When you're ready for some more outdoor excitement, you'll find plenty to choose from! Hiking, biking and climbing are within either walking distance or a short drive. An abundance of shopping and dining is available within minutes in historic downtown Manitou Springs, the Old Colorado City area, or vibrant downtown Colorado Springs.

Beautiful property and location. Would have give a 5 Star, but the property was missing essential bathroom and kitchen items. No trash bags for any bathroom. It was corrected after contacting the property manager.

Host was great - perfect location. We did have 11 adult guests and I feel like it is more accommodating for 10 adult guests.

This property was not what I expected for the cost. It was not clean with items of rubbish left under the beds. The gas oven cooking trays and BBQ not clean. There wasn’t a complete set of glasses all odd ones. They took baking trays at the start of stay as unusable and were supposed to replace them but didn’t. Some of the blinds were broken. Carpets were badly stained with rugs just put on top. The stairs leading from the kitchen to the parking was virtually impassable and not kept clear. There was no separate bin to recycle everything was just put in one including any glass. The boiler made an awful noise. Although we persevered and stayed I believe this property to be very overpriced in comparison with other properties we’ve rented.
