About this villa rental

Kaktos is located in Koleni, a beautiful seaside village on Kissamos bay, just 5 km east of Kastelli, the province's capital and 30 km west of Chania, the prefecture's capital.
The residence is fully equipped and arranged in two levels on the inside.
The house provides two bedrooms two bathrooms, sitting room, dining room and a walled-in fully equipped kitchen.
The house is just 150 metres from the sea
If you like walking, you have the opportunity to try a relaxing 1.5 km walk along the beach towards Panagia Choni, where Panagia Mirtidiotisa chapel (celebrations on September 24th) is located.

The Archaeological Museum of the area is located in the capital of Kissamos province, just 5 km away.
There are daily cruises departing from Kastelli's port (7 km) for Gramvousa, where you can find the old Venetian fortress, and the breathtaking exotic beach of Balos (Tigani bay, tropic water lagoon with white-pink sand).
Just 15 km to the north west you can visit Falasarna, a long white-sand beach and an important archaeological site (ancient Falasarna). The area is a popular tourist destination.

Continuing south west we can find Sfinari, the beaches around Amigdalokefali and the marvellous beach of Agios Mironas. Towards the same direction and just a few kilometres away we can find Chrisoskalitisa Monastery (celebrations on August 15th), built on a rocky hill above.Don't forget to visit Elafonisi, where you can find a unique pink sandy beach and a cedar forest (45 km).
The exceptional road network of the surrounding area offers a wide selection of destination choices covering all demands conventional or alternative, in order to explore the numerous beach sites as well as the densely populated hinterland of our prefecture. Starting from January 1/2024, a new law introduces a climate tax (“Sustainability fee against climate change”) to be paid by the guest on site in cash. This tax will amount to 4€( from November 1st to February 28th/29th ) or 10Euros ( from March 1st to October 31st ) per house per night. [FEK A.1217/2023] ‘.
