Our 2nd time at this place, says it all. This time we had a smaller room but it has everything you need. Happy with our stay.

There was welcome fruit which was nice. the room was big and had everything i needed. The hotel is very close to Elafonisi beach and restaurants. There was also a market across the street. The parking area was big and clean. The town overall is quiet and peaceful which was perfect for having a nice place to stay to do the beaches during the day. There is no town/center to explore so unless you plan to visit Elafonisi for several days you only need 1-2 nights in the area because the other beaches are not close and the road to get there is very windy.
I got it late since there was not a host to greet me. I didn't see the point of rushing to the hotel if no one was going to be there to show me around the property and room. The keys were relatively easy to retrieve overall but the security light kept turning off and I had to move and wait for the light to turn on to continue getting the keys out. Also the door didn't latch when you closed the door. It took my about 5 minutes to figure out that I had to slam the door to get it to latch which I'm sure the neighbors did not appreciate. I have the feeling their doors had the same problem because I often heard slamming of doors. Also the door handle appeared to be slowly breaking because I could see the parts were loose and spinning around causing the door closing process to take a long time. The room key was severely bent so it was also hard to slide into the mount to turn on the light.

Amazing apartment with a beautiful view of the monastery, the sea and the sunset. We really loved the decor and the whole style of the apartment. Well equipped. Super comfortable bed! A few good restaurants close by as well as many beaches - Elafonisi was a bit too touristy ; I would recommend Kedrodasos, White Lake and Voulolimni :) Would have loved to stay longer !
The AC took a while to cool the room but after an hour or two the place was freezing!

Beautifully furnished and a great location , if you have a car .
The apartment # 1. Is the go to , it has the best balcony of all 3 apartments on the premises, with a nice view of the monastery + sundowns were gorgeous. Complete views from the west and south side of area .
Fully equipped and even had fruit , snacks , coffee and water to get you started with your stay.
Located near White Lake beach , Elafonissi and Kedrodasos beach .
3 restaurants stood out in the immediate vicinity, Kosmos fish tavern, Glykeria and Aerino restaurant café.
The host was responsive and would reply within the hour if there was an issue, of which there were few .
Would strongly recommend ILIOVASILEMA APTS.
and we would definitely return .
