This is a great studio apartment, well maintained, clean, has everything you need for a perfect stay in Falasarna. Amazingly close to the beach, supermarket and restaurants too. Both Balos and Elafonissi are a 1 hour drive from here but you really don't need to go as the local beach is so beautiful! The owners are very helpful, nice people. We highly recommend this place!

One of the best kept secrets of Crete and of the few places I have been able to genuinely feel like I was living like a local – absolutely unbeatable location, sunset views from my private balcony and extremely friendly hosts. I booked my stay last minute and was greeted by the hosts who welcomed me with delicious homemade baked goods. The location is ideal for anyone looking for a relaxed beach getaway without the faff of the boutique hotels opening all around the area, yet a very comfortable bed and all-you-may-need kitchenette. AC and heating also worked great. You are walking distance from the beach and close to both Balos and Elafonissi, which although I visited in low season were still quite busy, which made it all the more rewarding to come back every day to my beautiful place at Golden Sun Apartments. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location is easy to find, accessible and beautiful, surrounded by nature and close to the Falassarna beach. The beds were fairly comfortable and we were given nice bed sheets and towels.

The apartment was cold when we arrived, it would have been nice to warm it up a little before our arrival. The bathroom was pretty bad, the shower curtain was very old and unpleasant. When we took a shower the water leaked and the floor was full of water til the next day. The space to seat on the toilet was super small. When taking a shower in the morning the water was cold. We didn't try to cook but the kitchen area wasn't greatly equipped, either.
