For a short or long stay, come and escape in this beautiful and spacious chalet of around 160m² completely renovated with taste and refinement. It is located on 16 ares of land allowing children to play and have fun in complete safety. The chalet is located outside the village on the edge of the road leading to the Petit Ballon as well as at the edge of the forest (at the foot of the Bickenberg hill), which allows you to take beautiful walks in nature. You will discover wild orchids from April to May.
The location is ideal for visiting this beautiful region. On one side, the tourist villages like Eguisheim at 15 minutes and the city of Colmar at only 20 minutes, without forgetting Kaysersberg, Riquewihr and Ribauvillé ... On the other side, the mountains, the Petit Ballon and its farm inns, the Grand Ballon and its lake.

To make your stay soft and relaxing, the cottage is equipped with all modern comforts (equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms with quality bedding, living room, bathroom, separate toilet ...).
Throughout your stay, you can enjoy your meals around a large table inside or on the terrace while enjoying the view of the mountains.
New for 2019: provision of 2 hammocks for relaxing in the trees and a brazier for evenings around a fire.
For your comfort, we provide you free of charge:
- sheets, kitchen towels
- products of current use: salt, pepper, sugar, dishwashing product, household products ...
Take advantage of your holidays in the region to visit museums, wine cellars, farm inns and castles in the surrounding area. You can also engage in various activities, including mountain biking, skiing, snowshoeing, horse riding and hiking. Don't forget to taste the local gastronomy!

Overall we were happy with our stay. The house is bright, clean and comfortable, and very well -equipped. Lovely outlook, and a good base for touring the lovely Alsace region.However we feel that the description is slightly misleading. The garden is not fully enclosed and there is an unfinished fence above the road through which animals and small children might be at risk. The owner lives on site in an extension to the house, and shares the garden. Personally I would not have booked if I had known this as we have a nervous dog. Finally the images are a bit misleading There is a road to the right between the house and the farm which petrolheads love to use leaving the village each weekend and every holiday.The hostess is very welcoming and friendly but I think there should be at least a welcome pack of done kind, even if it is only in French.

We enjoyed the stay! Nathalie is a very friendly and open host. She showed us her beautiful house and explained all household devices. The communication with her was unproblematic thanks to her english and german skills. The area around the house is perfect for motorcyclists, cyclists and hiker.

The house was clean and had a great view. IT was more than big enough for our groep (6 adults and a baby). Nathalie is very nice and easily approachable. We will certainly recommend this house.
