About this house rental
This lakefront home on Iyopawa Golf Course and is listed on Vrbo, This is a vacation property located on desirable Iyopawa Island, with Coldwater Lake on one side, and a regulation 9 hole golf course on the other. The house was recently refurbished. Fishing, Boating, Golfing, and Swimming, are literally right outside your door. We rent by the week for June through September starting on Saturday to Saturday. The rest of the year its rented by the night with a 2-night minimum stay. We are 5 miles North of the I-69, I-80 Interchange. Attractions include Trine University, Tibbitts Opera, and 5 Championship Golf Courses. You'll have the entire home to yourself! Enjoy parking your car in the garage! There is a Cozy living room with a fireplace overlooking Coldwater Lake! There are (3) Flat Screen T.V.s with cable channels. There is a washer & dryer with laundry detergent supplied for you. This home is beautifully remodeled and furnished! The kitchen is equipped with cookware, silverware, plates & bowls, drinking glasses, coffee cups, wine glasses, a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, stove & fridge. We have High Speed Internet (WIFI). The bathroom is furnished with shampoo, conditioner, & shower gel. We supply coffee with all of the fixings, bottled water, a bottle of wine, towels, linens, an ironing board and iron, hair dryers, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher soap, and paper towels. There are dressers for your clothes, spacious closets with hangers, and comfy beds. Our home is a dedicated Vrbo single family home designed to give you a 5-star experience with total privacy and comfort. We have instant booking without the need to request to be approved! We have a keypad electronic lock entry system with private, designated codes for each guest so there are no keys to keep up with. Access codes are automatically deactivated upon guest check-out time so there is no need to worry about previous guests with keys or access codes to the house during your stay. Safety and security is a priority! We have a professional cleaning service to ensure the home is spotless and sanitized upon arrival. Host was super awesome and answered all my questions and concerns. The place was very clean and had a lovely welcoming vibe to it. I couldn’t have picked a better place to spend Valentine’s Day with my fiance.

Kitty was an absolute delight to work with. She went above and beyond to ensure we were able to access the unit, even taking the time to personally walk down and let us in when the smart lock information was incorrect. Kitty's responsiveness and kindness as a host deserve the highest praise.
However, in the interest of transparency, I do feel the current listing photos do not accurately represent the true state of the property. The home has more of a rustic, "lake cottage" feel than that of a regularly maintained residence.
The walls have an older stucco-style drywall, and the trim work is inconsistent, with chipped paint in many areas.
The electrical work appears to have been done haphazardly, with external channels and some missing faceplates. The main bathroom floor is in poor condition, with peeling linoleum exposing a dirty, mildewed subfloor.
The HVAC system also needs attention, as the loud slamming and knocking noises when it shuts off indicate significant issues with the ductwork, blower, or damper. We had to stop using the air conditioning at night due to the disruptive noise.
The grill is completely non-functional, with heavily corroded burners and brittle, flaking internal metal. It's a safety hazard and should not be used.
Additionally, there are several broken siding pieces, which could allow moisture or pests to enter the home.
On a positive note, the lake view from the property is truly stunning, with two decks to take in the lakeside setting.
