Overall great property. Easy check in/out,Plenty of beds, towels, and space! Parking was easy and sufficient. There is a floor transition piece from the living room to the entryway that sticks up and will trip you! And a water spot on the dining room ceiling.

Every six months, myself and my three sisters, as well as spouses, get together at different locations in the central part of the country.This house is located in an older area of Louisville. This was awesome for us as most of the activities we did were nearby.Easily five to ten minutes from Churchill Downs and the Louisville Slugger Museum. We also visited the Falls of Ohio State Park, just across the river in Indiana.Just one thing to be aware of:Because the house is older, the two bathrooms are on the main floor, one in the master bedroom and the other in the hall. Consequently, those sleeping in the basement bedroom, or the upstairs bedrooms, need to use the stairs at night to use the bathroom. Not a problem for younger people, but something older people should consider.As for all other aspects, the house is a home run!!We had short drives to everything we were there to see. We had two of our party that walked to the nearby Catholic Church for Sunday service.Our entire group, ranging in age from the mid 50s to the mid 80s, walked to lunch in the Schnizelburg area on Goss Ave!!The house was very clean. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of room for our group of 7 to enjoy our time together.There was plenty of parking. We had four vehicles. One parked in the garage, two in the driveway, and one on the street.The host was very responsive in any contacts that we had. Check-in and check-out was smooth and easy.Thanks so much!

The house advertised two futons in the basement but there was only one when we arrived. One of our guest had to sleep on the couch because of this. Not a major problem obviously, but it would be nice for the website to be updated. I do recommend the host supply dishwashing detergent, as they ask you to start the dishwasher prior to leaving. There was a greasy film over the most of the cups provided, so 8 I assume guest were just running it with water only. Overall it was a nice house with a great location, only a few minutes from the expo center and restaurants.
