About this villa rental
Alla Marginetta is a luxury Villa set on over 6 acres of land and forest, refurbished to the highest standards. Very private large grounds with a superb 12 metre fresh spring water, looking up to the mountains.
The pool is an oasis, with a good kids play area nearby and by the pool is a lovely Gazebo where you can enjoy lunch or dinner. It has a BBQ, large table, chairs, electricity and water. Outside the kitchen grounds is another gazebo which is great for breakfast, lunch or dinner or lust lounging about. But the best part of the upper kitchen grounds is the large stone fire where you sit with friends and family late into the night, its really special & unique. There is a chainsaw and axe to cut down (dead) trees on the ground, everyone seems to love this.
The Villa has 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms with a spacious comfortable living and dining rooms. The large totally fitted kitchen has an island bar for casual eating and relaxing. The lower level has a Tavern bar which leads onto the Villa grounds, plus washing machine & laundry area. The Tavern bar boasts a brand new billiard (pool) table, plus other games. It also has good seating and a well stocked bar.
Outside near the pool there is also a nice play area for Children, including bikes and games. We now have 5 bikes (children & adults) plus games like swing ball and many others. There is an extensive movie collect at the villa, plus new satellite TV and very good wireless (even to pool).
3 minutes drive from Alla Marginetta are the lovely villages of San Rocco in Turrite and Focchia. A further 5 mins on from San Rocco is the picturesque town of Pescaglia. Continuing from Focchia is the quaint town of Fabbriche di Vallico. There are many lovely local restaurants in close proximity of the Villa. The area is great for fishing and mountain/hill walking or just chilling. The garden is landscaped very tastefully and gives you total privacy.
This Villa is absolutely unique in the area, sitting on such large grounds give total privacy. Still within driving distance you can find so much to explore or do.
