About this house rental
Built: 1891, this Ocean City Victorian single-family beauty (over 5600 sq. ft. of living space) known as The Painted Lady is truly one of a kind and part of Ocean City’s historical charm. Built in 1891 and carefully restored in 2019, it is also known as The Thomas S. Simmon's House. This home offers six bedrooms (which includes a beautiful master bedroom and ensuite) and three and a half baths. Enter the upper house via the expansive and airy front wrap-around porch which is second to none in Ocean City. The beautiful formal entry reflects the home's vintage character in the extensive woodwork, fixtures, staircase and hardwood floors. Past meets present in the tastefully designed interior with glass doorknobs, new vintage switch plates, classic furniture pieces and stainless-steel appliances, washer/dryer, full baths with custom tile, granite and glass-enclosed bathing areas. Home includes 6 state of the art TV’s, Alexa for your enjoyment, fully stocked kitchen for the gourmet chef, a Keurig coffee pot, plus a whole lot more. Parking for 2 cars out back (piggy backed), free street parking out front, an outdoor shower and a whole lot more.
One of the few rental properties with a back yard for the kids to enjoy while the adults enjoy the huge wrap around porch that is truly one of a kind. With a large, shady, outdoor barbecue area that includes a deluxe gas grill and seating for at least 6, this is truly an Ocean City escape for the family to enjoy. 8 beach tags included.
Linens are required...we offer plenty of pillows and blankets, but you need to provide sheets and towels. Ask me about linen rentals!
To secure your vacation, we require a signed short-term rental agreement along with the first of two payments returned to us within seven business days of receipt. We will email you a short-term rental agreement for you to review and sign. You will then return the signed agreement to us along with the first of two payments. 50% of the total amount due to secure your dates, with the balance and final payment of 50% due 30 days prior to check in.
To reserve your week/weekend we will need the following information in order to email you a short-term rental agreement:
Name(s) you want on the rental agreement
• Home address
• Home & Cell phone #'s
• List of all occupants that will be staying in beach house
• A copy of the individual’s driver’s license whose name is on the lease
***NO Senior Week Groups. Our home is Smoke Free, and we don’t allow pets.***

The house was perfect for our family beach vacation and we couldn't have been more happy. Would highly recommend staying in this beautiful home just a few blocks from the boardwalk/beach.
