Desert's Edge provides an authentic Fruita experience to all seeking an outdoor Colorado adventure. Fruita is known for its world-famous mountain biking trails and outdoor adventures. Desert’s Edge Fruita is centrally located to all the action. We hope to highlight these and more Fruita attractions for you to explore during your stay. This unique property is a 4 acre oasis on the edge of downtown Fruita and the North desert trails. The Little Salt Wash runs through the property and provides lots of shade and single track walking paths, all on private property for you to enjoy. It is perfect for walking dogs, sipping coffee or relaxing in the shade near the water. Explore the unique niches around the wash which is designated as a wildlife corridor.
There is a large locked shed for gear and bike storage including a bike stand and work bench near the parking. This area includes an all day shady fenced in dog yard with a dog house. The fire pit, staging area and general hanging out spot in near the shed as well. Parking is off the street be-hind a privacy fence. A big grassy private front yard and several sitting areas around the house are also provided. Explore, relax and enjoy your stay at this hidden oasis. Cute little place, clean, lot's of little extras. Dog pen and area to run dogs was very nice. Well lit if you come in after dark.

Will definitely stay here again!The house is in a great location and perfect size for 2 adults. Our dogs loved the fenced dog area. The house was clean and the host covered all the basics. Loved that local artists were represented!

Although it was off a busy street once inside the property it felt secluded and private. The yard was heavily wooded with a creek running through it. The grounds were well kept and nicely decorated with lots of places to relax and enjoy the outside with additional features of a fireplace and grilling area. There was plenty of room for the dog to wander. Inside it was clean, comfortable, and well organized with all the amenities and little things we needed. It has wonderful couch area and nice bed with extra blankets and pillows. There were no issues and everything functioned perfectly to make our visit just what we had hoped. We had an excellent stay.

Lovely, comfortable and a few minutes from quaint Fruita center, 20 mns from bigger city Grand Junction. Quiet, ample, private unit, comfortable bath, LR and bedroom, with great bike shed and off-street parking. Impressively spotless, very well lit. The hostess is charming and discreet but entirely available. We are biking Denverites and plan to return.
