About this house rental

We now have WIFI. Conveniently located 1 mile from The Orchard and Twin Oast Brewery with the Igloos in the winter. The cottage is 2 bedroom and 2 bath cottage. The cottage is conveniently located by the Miller Ferry to Put In Bay and all Lake Erie Islands. There are several restaurants located nearby. The cottage is newly remodeled with central air and cable TV. There is a washer and dryer,fridge,stove, and all small appliances included. There is a patio outback with a gas grill for those relaxing summer nights. The location is family friendly and only steps to private and well maintained Gem Beach. We do prefer 3 days to weekly rental in the summer, but off season is 2-3 days minimum, unless you contact the owner. Our driveway is 50 ft long if you have a smaller boat/trailer and truck. Guests are responsible for filling their own propane tanks and cleaning grill. Absolutely no parties allowed!

This property matched its description perfectly. Very clean and comfortable for our small group. Nice to have 2 full bathrooms to clean up at the end of our busy days. While not a large property, it delivered for us in every way imaginable. Thanks for sharing your home, we will certainly look to book again in the future.

Excellent experience beginning to end. Our family of four had a terrific autumn weekend visiting our favorite places in Catawba and Marblehead. Melissa was very helpful and responsive to our inquiries, the cottage was clean and included many helpful amenities, and the location cannot be beat. We very much look forward to another stay at this cottage!

So......... I don't like giving negative reviews but this one fell quite short of expectations. First one of beds in the room had a completely broken frame so one of our girls had to sleep on a futon in our bedroom/her parents(super awkward), next there was no toilet paper in the house cept 1 roll, next was the main bedroom door didn't shut at all, not even a bit, next was only the hot sink faucet worked in the main bathroom and next was the showers were luke warm at best. Melissa was very responsive and apologetic, but that doesn't change things. Just too many things overlooked for me to be ok with it. Place was clean, and cute, but broken beds, no hot water, no toilet paper are just not ok in this business.
