About this cottage rental
Traditional Portuguese country house, set in a farm near the Alentejo coast, surrounded by 127 hectares of green fields. All rooms have central heating and a private bathroom with a bath and TV. Some rooms also have a terrace.
Guests can enjoy breakfast with bread cooked in a wood oven and homemade jams.
Amieira has a living room in rural style with a fireplace and a large terrace overlooking the fields. Guests can also enjoy a ping pong table and bicycles for relaxing afternoons.
The Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park is a 30-minute drive away.

We loved our stay in Monte Sobreiro.The house was clean and had everything we needed to feel like we were at home.Our checkin with D Helena was absolutely amazing.... she was extremely friendly, explained how everything worked and made herself available in case we needed anything.

Wonderful relaxing location and home. Beautiful scenery, we rnjoyed seeing the cows in the mountains and near us. The patio was a great location to enjoy a coffee with views of the cork oak trees. The pool was a wonderful to have to cool off and relax. The kids enjoyed the pool immensely. We would recommed this location, we will be back hopefully soon.

We had an amazing weekend. Perfect location for walking along vicentina coast. The house is the perfect home for a weekend with friends.

We had a lovely holiday in the villa. The house is very big, the bedrooms are large and the beds were comfortable. The pool is very big and luxurious, with enough shade from the parasols. The surroundings were quiet, we had lovely views of the hills and were quite close (30 min drive) to multiple beaches. The nearest shops are 10-15 minutes away by car, which was very handy.
A minor warning though: the water comes from an artesian well and contains iron and sulphur, which takes some getting used to the smell.
Overall the villa is a great place for a relaxing vacation with family and friends!
