About this villa rental
Villa MARAMAR is located on the Algarve near the Atlantic coast (approx. 300m) in an exclusive and quiet area of Carvoeiro without through traffic.
The particularly large private pool with skin-friendly salt water, sun loungers / parasols and barbecues is located right next to the house. So you can also keep an eye on the children.
With a game of BILLIARDS or table tennis you can enjoy the sunset by the sea close to the barbecues.
From June 2024 there will also be a private beach volleyball court (16m x 8m) in the rear part of the property (marked in yellow - new pictures will follow).
There you can play basketball or football as well.
A punching bag with 4 gloves and a weight station is also available.
For the kids:
there is table football, darts, a trampoline, ping-pong, basketball or football .. in the house:
a PlayStation, Disney TV, Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video - in both living rooms on extra large flat screens!
The legendary Carvoeiro tennis club can be reached on foot in 10 minutes.

There is also a small hidden beach where you will be sure to be undisturbed .. distance: 300m from the accommodation.

The house itself has 6 bedrooms with black-out blinds, 5 bathrooms (each with hairdryer), 2 living rooms (with sofa beds) and 2 fully equipped kitchens with 2 large refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, various coffee machines, air fryers and various kitchen appliances.
You don't have to worry about anything - everything is there:
from spices to shampoo to bed linen.
The rooms are equipped with 5 air conditioning units and various fans.
The 5 flat screens have satellite reception, regional television as well as Netflix and Prime Video.
A PlayStation is connected as well - you can also receive your radio stations via satellite.
Several repeaters ensure fast internet throughout the house and outside.
The nearest restaurant is on the same street (approx. 200m away).
You need about 45 minutes by car to get to the accommodation from Faro airport.
You can also get there by bus or shuttle.
The parking space for up to 6 cars is located on the property - in the entrance area.
When you arrive, we will personally welcome you and give you instructions.

The property was very well equipped throughout, both inside and outside. The pool was a highlight and ample sun beds were provided. The volleyball court, pool table and table tennis provided much entertainment throughout the stay. There was plenty of space inside for our party of 13.Check in and communication was very good and Gerald responded quickly to any issues and was extremely helpful.

Had a great time as a family of 12, weather in May half term was amazing! Outdoor space was excellent, large pool and lots of others things to do. There was loads of seating and always somewhere to find the shade or the sun. Nice and friendly restaurant 5 min walk away that catered for children and vegetarians on request. Supermarkets are a short drive away and a car is essential in my view. Coastal path is closely located to the property and was very enjoyable but not suitable for younger or older people due to the terrain. Gerald was friendly and helpful and always responded to our messages and questions throughout our stay.

The villa was well equipped and the outdoor space was brilliant for everyone, plenty of games and a lovely pool area.
Indoors plenty of space.
We tried to walk to the secret beach (directions would have been useful) and we did eventually find it but it was really hard to get down there with small children.
The area itself is nice and quiet.
We would have liked a house manual as not sure how the get the cookers to work. Also didn’t realise that the hot water was only solar so the showered are cold in the morning.
Also would have been nice to have more than one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and some bumbag - we ended up buying a whole roll when we just needed a few extra.
Internet was intermittent.
All in all though a good stay.
