This spacious 1 bedroom 1 story Barn has recently been converted transforming it into an ideal luxurious relaxing getaway for couples. The Barns at High Park were originally built in the late 1800's and are situated in the heart of the North Devon coastline. It offers easy access to beaches, moors, coastal path walks, cycle paths, golf courses, horticultural gardens, children friendly fun parks, and many other traditional outdoor and indoor recreational activities for those seeking a truly relaxing, yet active, break away from the stresses of day-to-day life.

High Park Barns has a secure, purpose-built 1 acre dog exercise field located on site. Designed with safety, freedom, and fun in mind, our fully enclosed field, with 1.8m high fencing, offers dogs the perfect space to run, play, and train off-lead in a safe and private environment. The dog field is open daily in the morning and evening for staying guests at no cost. Additional time can be booked during the day.

The barn is situated with 14 acres of private land. Within the grounds is a shared indoor swimming pool and hot-tub, and large natural lake featuring stunning vegetation and decked terrace.

Converted in 2016, this barn features a solid oak super king bed in the master bedroom, all new solid oak furniture, leather sofas, LED lighting and underfloor heating.

The barn has access to four 7.2kW electric vehicle (EV) destination chargers.

The barn is dog friendly, and you are welcome to bring them at £25 per dog per week or part thereof.

The Hosts and their communication was excellent. The coach house was warm,clean and well equipped. The pool and rota system was brilliant and well thought out. The grounds were lovely to walk around and we had a very relaxing holiday. We would certainly hope to return.

Really relaxing week, could not fault anything Anne and Paul made us realy welcome , property was great , scone , cream and jam in the fridge was a nice welcome and also the bottle of milk from the farm down the road, swimming pool and Jacuzzi so clean and welcoming. Excellent place to stay to use as a base to explore Devon. The cottage has all you need in the kitchen, teas, coffees and very welcoming Devon scones & clotted cream, plus delicious fresh milk from the nearby local farm! Communication from Anne-Louise was perfect from before our holiday started. Effortless check-in and check-out. We really enjoy our stay.

We had a wonderful week staying in the Coach House. We had the swimming pool all to ourselves which was a very good idea. We felt very safe and secure whilst there and would thoroughly recommend a stay at any of the properties. Thank you for our lovely stay.

The property is a little dated but has everything you might need. The bathroom and shower were excellent but, for this price we would expect to have some toileteries, tissues, etc. but we only had hand wash. Our early arrival (15 minutes) shoudn't have been a problem as the property was ready but we had no contact with the owner at any time during our stay.

High Park Barns provide quality accommodation in a lovely rural setting but close to North Devon’s beaches and attractions. The swimming pool is a real asset and an excellent facility for families in particular. Highly recommended

Everything about The Coach House at High Park Barns exceeded expectation. We were particularly impressed with the comfortable super king sized bed, the en-suite facilities and the well-equipped kitchen and living area. We made good use of the indoor pool, heated to 30C, and the hot tub and very much appreciated the allocated hourly swimming times. The complex is very dog-friendly with areas where our four-legged friends could be exercised safely off lead. There are so many lovely beaches and interesting places to visit in the area which makes High Park Barns an excellent location for a holiday.

We had a wonderful family weekend including the use of the main house. Very comfortable beds and linen. The coach house was clean, warm, welcoming and beautifully furnished. Swimming pool was perfect, and well maintained. There is a lot of available green space for children and adults to play. The complex is in a good location with beautiful coastline 10 minutes away, our favourite was Westward Ho! Our host was friendly, knowledgeable and kept us well informed regarding checking in and out. I would highly recommend this venue.

We had yet another fabulous time at the Coachhouse in High Park Barns. The facilities are always immaculate and the space is always well clean and maintained. The pool is always amazing, and plenty of time available for a swim, even late in the evening. Anne-Louise was fantastic as always and was super responsive to all communication, including taking in a parcel for us before arrival. We’re already planning on a return visit, and can’t wait to come back

We really enjoyed our stay at The Coach House. Very spacious and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. We particularly enjoyed the cream tea and fresh milk left for us and had lovely coffees in the morning from the coffee machine and pods. Anne Louise had left us a high chair for our daughter which was very useful and there was a cot as well. We loved using the swimming pool and it’s in a great location for trips to local attractions!

We had a wonderful five nights at the coach house. Host were really helpful and friendly. The place was clean and in a great location for family days out. The big sheep and water mouth castle were ace! The pool was fantastic and our little boy loved it! The gardens are beautifully kept, shame about the flies in and outside of the barn we couldn’t care to sit on the patio provided due to the flies. The barn is hot and the bedroom is air conditioned but not the best air con but did help. I would recommend a stay here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Coach House. We traveled as part of a group with our friends in the main house which was ideal. The patio area was lovely looking over the gardens. The room was very well equipped with everything we needed and furnished to a high standard. Tje scones and milk were a nice touch. The pool allocations were great and meant we were able to enjoy the pool to ourselves. I think we would have enjoyed the hot tub more if this was outside, however I understand this might not be possible due to noise for other guests.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this delightful barn conversation cottage. Our host was very kind, friendly and helpful. We really liked the relaxed doggy friendly attitude. The grounds around the cottage were lovely to walk through and of course the dog enjoyed the new smells. The location of the cottage was perfect for exploring the coast and walking.

This is the second time I have stayed here in the winter and you can’t beat it for peace and quiet. Cosy warm cottage with all the facilities you could want. Shopping centre that is dog friendly 5 mins away and all of Northam Burrows to explore at Westward Ho. Lovely gardens for short walks. The pool and hot tub mean that I can exercise regardless of the weather. A great boost for the winter months. Will be back.

We arrived on the 1st December to find a Christmas Tree up and a delicious afternoon tea ready for us. It was so welcoming and we really appreciated this after a long journey from Eastbourne. We were welcomed on arrival by Anne-Louise. She gave us lots of useful information about the area. Paul then gave us a further tip about a great beach. The accomodation was lovely, the area very quiet but with excellent facilities nearby - including a large supermarket and shopping village. The welcome milk and cream tea were quite literally very welcome and in all the ambience of the Coach House was super. The pool was amazing! We will definitely be returning. Thanks for such a great holiday - of course I haven't mentioned the weather :)

We have stayed here twice now and loved it both times. So much so that we will be coming back again next year. It is in the countryside and yet very close to the beach and shops. I just hope that by giving a very good, true review, we haven't spoilt getting the bookings we want in future by it being fully booked.

Just had another short break at High Park Barns in The Coach House and as always, it never lets you down. The owners Anne-Louise & Paul are friendly and very helpful with any requirements that you may have. My partner and I (plus 2 dogs) have stayed here on numerous occasions and always enjoy our breaks. We are all booked up and looking forward to coming back once again in July and September to this lovely part of the country.
