About this house rental
This spacious 1 bedroom 1 story Barn has recently been converted transforming it into an ideal luxurious relaxing getaway for couples. The Barns at High Park were originally built in the late 1800's and are situated in the heart of the North Devon coastline. It offers easy access to beaches, moors, coastal path walks, cycle paths, golf courses, horticultural gardens, children friendly fun parks, and many other traditional outdoor and indoor recreational activities for those seeking a truly relaxing, yet active, break away from the stresses of day-to-day life.
High Park Barns has a secure, purpose-built 1 acre dog exercise field located on site. Designed with safety, freedom, and fun in mind, our fully enclosed field, with 1.8m high fencing, offers dogs the perfect space to run, play, and train off-lead in a safe and private environment. The dog field is open daily in the morning and evening for staying guests at no cost. Additional time can be booked during the day.
The barn is situated with 14 acres of private land. Within the grounds is a shared indoor swimming pool and hot-tub, and large natural lake featuring stunning vegetation and decked terrace.
Converted in 2016, this barn features a solid oak super king bed in the master bedroom, all new solid oak furniture, leather sofas, LED lighting and underfloor heating.
The barn has access to four 7.2kW electric vehicle (EV) destination chargers.
The barn is dog friendly, and you are welcome to bring them at £25 per dog per week or part thereof.

Lovely location, quiet and relaxing. Pool facilities are great. Everything is very well thought out, with great attention to details.

This is the first time we have stayed at High Park in The Coach House and we will definitely be back. We arrived with our three dogs and used the lock box to get the key to the property which was easy to navigate. Anne Louise came to introduce herself and offered recommendations for the area which we really appreciated as this was our first time in Devon. The property was dog friendly, with a big garden for them to play in and other areas for them to explore off leash. The Coach House even had a hose on the side of the house to rinse off the sand from the beach!
The property was clean and very comfortable. The heated swimming pool and hot tub was a bonus as the weather was not on our side.
We cannot recommend High Park Barns enough and are already planning our next visit.

Being in the hospitality business ourselves, it is rare we find such wonderful attention to detail in places we visit. Anne-Louise & Paul were so welcoming and friendly (as were Buzz & Woody!). The pool is such a bonus, especially in the winter, when it was cold outside. The Coach House was superb. Everything you need for a comfy, cosy stay. We will definitely be returning. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer.
