This spacious 1 bedroom 1 story Barn was converted in 2017, transforming it into an ideal luxurious relaxing getaway for couples. The barn has underfloor heating throughout, and the bedroom is fitted with integrated air-conditioning, making if perfect retreat for any season.
The Barns at High Park were originally built in the late 1800's and are situated in the heart of the North Devon coastline. It offers easy access to beaches, moors, coastal path walks, cycle paths, golf courses, horticultural gardens, children friendly fun parks, and many other traditional outdoor and indoor recreational activities for those seeking a truly relaxing, yet active, break away from the stresses of day-to-day life.
High Park Barns has a secure, purpose-built 1 acre dog exercise field located on site. Designed with safety, freedom, and fun in mind, our fully enclosed field, with 1.8m high fencing, offers dogs the perfect space to run, play, and train off-lead in a safe and private environment. The dog field is open daily in the morning and evening for staying guests at no cost. Additional time can be booked during the day.
The barn is situated with 14 acres of private land. Within the grounds is a shared indoor swimming pool and hot-tub, and large natural lake featuring stunning vegetation and decked terrace.
Converted in 2016, this barn features a solid oak super king bed in the master bedroom, all new solid oak furniture, leather sofas, LED lighting and underfloor heating.
The barn has access to four 7.2kW electric vehicle (EV) destination chargers.
The barn is dog friendly, and you are welcome to bring them at £25 per dog per week or part thereof.

We have stayed at the Coach House at High Barns off and on for the last 6 years and each stay is as good as the last.
Anne-Louise keeps her accommodation immaculately clean and provides you with everything for an enjoyable stay.
The area is so peaceful and quiet too but with the added luxury of the pool and hot-tub too. Loved every single visit & don't want to leave!

Our dog and us had a great time at High Park Barns. Anne-Louise was so thoughtful and friendly throughout our time there. We loved the attention to details and how exceptionally dog-friendly the entire property was. We had a fabulous and restful time and hope to visit again someday.

It is our 2nd visit to the Coach House and have already shared the link with family & colleagues.
The property is very cosy and very well equipped.
The whole site is so dog friendly and nice to wander around.
It is a very relaxing, peaceful place to stay.
I was out early in the morning with our dog on Wednesday and saw a Hare and a pair of Canada Geese down at the lake. Also heard Woodpeckers each morning too.

The kitchen was very well equipped, including extras (washing tablets for dishwasher & pods for washing machine, also pods for coffee machine). The Coach house is warm & comfortable with a lovely big bed and excellent shower. The grounds are lovely and extremely dog friendly. The owners are friendly and very welcoming too.
