Very nice stay, perfect for our weekend and very good value for money
Great location, with good instructions on how to find the property. Off road parking very handy. Delightful local pub 2 minutes walk away. House was tidy and bedrooms were large and comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed although we did not use it much as ate out.
Main bathroom could do with a proper lock. Garden was sweet but brambles need weeding! only because I am a gardener!

Good stay but heating had a strong smell
This home was clean, comfortable and had everything you would need. The house itself was great and felt very homely. The kitchen and bathroom were great. The owners were great at responding quickly to questions I had, which was appreciated.
There were a couple of small areas of mould, or where mould had been, though it wasn't too bad. Overall it was a great stay, but the only criticism is the heating. When we walked into the property there was a fuel/petrol like smell, which we realised was coming from the heating which was powered by oil. It was very strong so I got in touch with the owners who reassured us that it was because the heating hadn't been on in a while. We were hoping the smell would go but it was unfortunately quite overwhelming and gave us headaches. The next day it didn't smell as intense, thankfully, but it was still too strong if I'm totally honest. It did make our stay slightly less uncomfortable and meant we didn't sleep as well. I also asked the owner about CO2 alarms as we were a bit worried with the smell, and they said the alarm would alert us if there was an issue. We eventually found an alarm behind the TV but it was unfortunately not working. We did find batteries and replaced them, and there was no alarm thankfully. We would stay again if the smell wasn't so strong, it was just too overwhelming.

Good met our need.
No locks on Bathroom/Toilet. Pillows were flat. Patio outside door handle nearly broke off will cause some one to cut their hand when it breaks off.
